New Taipei City Hotel Guide - Shimen Arch hotels in New Taipei City, Taiwan.

"We have already decided that we will stay at this same hotel the next time we visit Taipei. The hotel is conveniently located without being too close to the main attractions/shopping areas. There are many very good cafes/bakeries/restaurants very close by. The hotel had a nice layout and felt welcoming. Our room was very comfortable. The staff were always so polite and helpful. We did not try the restaurants in the hotel, but all the food looked amazing. Note that some of the meal sets do require advance notice (a couple days at least) so be sure to inform the staff if you are interested in those options. I would love to see a water bottle refill station in the future! (Free water bottles are provided in the room)"

"The room was clean and the amenities were easy to use. A lot of options, including healthy options, were available at the breakfast buffet. Checking in and checking out were easy and didn’t take much time. The staff at the front desk and the concierge were polite and helpful. The station for the bus #1960 taking us to and from the airport is conveniently located at a short distance from the hotel. Overall, I would gladly recommend this hotel to travellers to Taipei. "

"We stayed at the Grand Hyatt for one night and it was amazing! From the decoration in the reception area, the cleanliness and the beautiful room I received everything was top notch! As Expedia members we were upgraded to a one bedroom suite that had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The hotel is within walking distance to the 101 Building which has shops, a food court and entertainment. I only wish we could have stayed longer!"

"The hotel offers excellent service. The breakfast is delicious with a wide variety of options. It is conveniently located near an MRT station,Shin Kong Mitsukoshi, Ningxia Nigh Market."

"This has always been my choice hotel whenever I’m in Taipei. Room is spacious and clean. Staff are nice to accommodate my request for one big bed instead of twin beds. They even went the extra mile to unlock my luggage when I accidentally changed the passcode. Buffet breakfast was great and they actually allowed guests to eat from 6.30am to noon, unlimited entries. Excellent location in city area. Plenty of food n shopping around. "

"Really enjoy the sauna room, cold plunge, and outdoor swimming pool. Had dinner at Mipon and it is excellent and priced right. Love the room since it is so spacious and has a little bit of Japanese influence as well. Will definitely come back. "
