"Mirage has excellent location, right above the water, with a walkway to get to Airlie beach and the marina. It also has a bus stop just down the road to get to Airlie beach or any other location. The apartment was huge with sweeping views of the water. The only negative for me was the bed, which was too soft but that is individual preference. The buffet breakfast was sufficient, however if you wanted real coffee you had to purchase from the bar, otherwise just instant coffee. Generally, buffet breakfast has at least percolated coffee included. The resort is well maintained, and beautiful. There are two pools, one of them adults only which is a nice option for those who prefer a quiet time."

"This property was fabulous. As described. It was very clean well appointed and we had everything we needed. The check in was easy and the whole place was very welcoming. The pool was lovely and opened until later which was perfect. It was about a 20-25 minute walk to airlie beach centre, along a fabulous board walk with great restaurants and cafes along it."

One Airlie Beach....Beyond comparison

"We had a great time. House was really good and as described. Beautiful views, great poolArea, short walk to town. The host Kim and house manager Jo were great to deal with. Would stay again. Couple of small things to consider: the traffic noise is quite loud and constant so if that bothers you something to think about. It would also be handy to put some mirrors in the bedrooms as there is only one main bathroom for the eight people who don’t have the ensuite room (to reduce time in the bathroom for hair and make up) a shower curtain in the main bathroom would also be a good idea to stop water splashing everywhere. Slightly bigger couches in the outdoor area off the lounge would also be good as we liked to sit out there in the morning and have breakfast and a coffee and the chairs only seat four people . Only other thing lighting in the house in the main living kitchen dining area is a really stark white thay could be easily fixed with replacing with a warm white globe or putting some lamps around. Overall we were all very happy with the our stay."
