"My wife and I stayed at L’Escape for the Seoul leg of our honeymoon, and it was our first true luxury hotel experience on the trip. The hotel itself is stunning — European-inspired elegance, immaculate rooms, beautiful design in every detail. Check-in was flawless: warm staff, immediate luggage assistance, and a polished welcome that made us feel special after a long travel day. The location is the real star. Right in Myeongdong, steps from the metro, Seoul Tower, street food, shopping, and restaurants. Best location of our entire multi-country honeymoon — we could walk out the door and be in the heart of everything. For exploring Seoul, you can’t do better. The hotel also sent a lovely dessert and handwritten postcard to our room wishing us a happy honeymoon — a genuinely thoughtful touch. Where it fell short: We tried booking breakfast for every morning and were told the restaurant was overbooked, despite booking 2+ months in advance and explaining it was our honeymoon. Being turned away from your own hotel’s restaurant at this price point was disappointing. Check-out was also underwhelming — no luggage help, no warm send-off, a stark contrast to arrival. Additionally, in-hotel pricing felt excessive: airport transfers were 3x what we paid via DiDi, and drinks were so overpriced we chose to go out instead. Beautiful hotel, unbeatable location, but the breakfast situation, inconsistent service, and inflated pricing kept it from perfection. Highly recommended. "

"Location was perfect which is walking distance to Myeongdong night market, and the lomousine bus to/from airport. The room is clean and good size. We love the mountain view overlooking the NSeoul tower. Staff are friendly and the rooms are being cleaned daily. Buffet breakfast was average. So better to just buy outside from Isaac’s Toast. The hotel is near 7-11 and CU which are convenient for early bites when we had early tour pickup. Overall, we really move this hotel. "

"Front desk was rude. Wet floor and stinks, they gave us a hard time to move to another room. To be fair the male supervisor was very helpful. Staff needs to be trained "
