Our second stay at Elk Ridge and we thoroughly enjoyed the family time and peaceful surroundings. The lodge is well kept, spacious and the hosts are the best. Would highly recommend. The grandkids wanted to know when we're going back again!

Family retreat

Family retreat including 10 adults and 5 children under age of 3. Property is beautiful. More than enough room for party of our size. Hosts were extremely responsive and went over and above to accommodate our stay!

The property was beautiful, the cabin was amazing and perfect for our big family. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed as far as utensils, pots and pans, appliances, etc. The view is excellent to sit outside and drink your coffee and tea in the morning and just sit outside and relax while the kids play. The hosts are amazing wonderful people who are always available to answer any questions. We had an amazing experience and I would love to go back.

Girls Weekend

We had a wonderful stay at the lodge. Our group consisted of moms and daughters for a girls weekend and the lodge fit our needs. It was clean and spacious and the hosts were very helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

Great venue for the right event. We rented both the Ranch and the Log Lodge, so this review applies to both. The properties accommodated a large group for our family reunion. The venue really has a lot to offer for additional spaces and activities, indoors and outdoors, which is accurately reflected in the listings. Finally, our host, Wendy, was just great. I misinterpreted the number of sleeping accommodations available at one site, which messed up my space allocation for family. Wendy immediately recognized the ambiguity of the listing and offered us a generous solution which solved the problem perfectly!

Family Time

The lodge was great. The trip was part of my Christmas gift to my family so we could be together after a great family loss. It was peaceful, yet there was lots to do for the adults and kids, along with lots of laughter. Our hosts couldn't have been more accommodating and we will likely visit again. Highly recommend!

Great property

Overall excellent place for a weekend with the family. Some areas weren't fully cleaned from previous guests, but the interior of the house was well kept. Owners are very responsive and excellent to communicate with.

Family fun in the woods

We had so much fun as a family! The boys got to golf while the ladies got to visit local wineries. We got to sit around the kitchen table and play games. It was a great spot for a large family like ours!

Beautiful Luxury Cabin with Lots of Privacy

The cabin was very large, updated, clean & nicely appointed with all the amenities you'd need. There is a lot of common space to spread out and plenty of sleeping quarters. It's in a very private wooded area with deer roaming the property. A perfect place for a family vacation. Owners were exceedingly responsive and helpful with any questions we had. I highly recommend this property!

Wonderful experience

We celebrated my 30th birthday with family and friends this weekend and we had a wonderful experience. We had 13 people and there was plenty of room for everyone! Dave and Wendy were excellent hosts. We will be planning another trip to return in the future.

Christmas Stay

This lodge is perfect for a large group. We had 15 of various ages. Everyone loved it. It’s close to French Lick as the crow flies, takes about 20 minutes to get in town because of the roads, but worth the drive! The owners are very attentive should you have any questions or concerns.

Great place to stay as part of a French Lick golf outing

The 12 beds worked great for our group of 12 golfers. The kitchen also worked great for feeding the crew. The seven beds in the basement worked fine but a few too many snorers in the same space could benefit from sound barriers (walls). Overall we had a great stay and a few of us played on the par 3 and played some ping pong. If you have an event that requires timing 12 showers all close together, be wary of potential low water pressure. Owners were very responsive and great to work with. We would definitely come back.

Wonderful Stay

We had a large group come for a weekend to Elk Ridge. The lodge is very nice. Plenty of different comfortable sleeping areas and a great stocked kitchen. It is very remote, tucked in the woods with plenty of privacy. Large wrap around decks with nice views. The owners are FANTASTIC! Very helpful/prompt with any issues that may arise. Two things future guests should know that are out of control of the owners - The outside is buggy. It is part of a farm so if you are not use to it bring repellant. The driveway is gravel and steep. Our vehicles did not have problems but it is a little tricky. Overall, a Wonderful Stay!
