"The cabin was so charming. The staff very friendly and helpful. My grandson is 11 and found the waterpark to be for younger kids. The pool was cold but that didn’t stop him. The hot tub was a little warmer than the pool. All in all it was a good stay. The location is convenient and we had a wonderful time"

"Room was very clean except for Mayflies. Breakfast was on the 3rd floor above the lobby. I am handicapped and there was 2 handicapped parking spots both taken before we got there so lots of walking /steps or crossing a full parking lot to get to lobby, breakfast or our hotel room. Location was great for Sheplers ferry, views of Lake Huron , fireworks, restaurants ect."

"We had a very pleasant time, and it was a wonderful space that she shared with us.The couple of things that I would say that would have made me feel better is the first one, and most importantly, is when i'm staying in the woods.I want to be able to open up the windows or doors and get the natural air.yet everything was set up with no screens.. which I would not necessarily have an issue with, except that there were swarming flying insects that I knew she didn't want in the house..And the only other thing is WD 40 on the bedroom door hinges would be good.We loved it, though, and we would love to be able to come back.."

"Took my parents to the UP for the first time and they loved their room! Bed was extremely comfortable, everything was super well cleaned, and the location of the motel is perfect for people wanting to go to Mackinaw Island and come back on the same day. I’ll stay here again in a heart beat."
