"The Sonesta was amazing, came to celebrate our grandmother 90s birthday and all of the staff were greatly friendly and accommodating. Must give mention to Spiro at the bell hop and the valet crew. They were quick, friendly, and very informative. They were helpful when we came in early and got us into our room early. Only two small issues, do not stay here if sirens is an issue, due to firehouse being not too far. And in the pool one of the lifts was not charged so could not be used when our grandmother wanted to get in pool. They did have that fixed before we left so small issue. We will stay again when we are in Chicago again."

"The rooms are nice and spacious, recently renovate at least our rooms. However the are big issues with the noise levels inside the hotel and we had a very bad experience with Guests a couple of doors down from a our room that started to shout and fight during the night and the staff / security didn’t address that. Several rooms call the lobby to deal with the situation but the hotel didn’t resolve it or call police. It was pretty scary that at 2 am in the morning. This happens in a hotel. response from the hotel staff "

"Room was slightly small and there was no microwave. But for the most part enjoyed my stay."
