"I’ll start by saying, don’t be fooled by the beautiful pictures and reviews posted on Expedia. This property is in dire need of updating. When you first enter, you are graciously greeted by Gee, a lively, happy concierge. The lobby has been renovated and is a lovely gathering space with a modern bar and sitting area. The front desk agent, Hamilia, was friendly and quick check in. This all sounds lovely, until you get to your room… we booked the 11th floor panoramic room for a special weekend away for my husband and I. Upon opening the door, you were hit with cold musty, marijuana odiferous air. The panoramic view was beautiful, but I couldn’t get past the smelly, 63 degree temperature. We instantly turned up to heat. The bathroom was dated with peeling paint in the tub, an open packet of soap on the counter and “something “ in the sink drain. Seemed like it wasn’t even cleaned after the last guests. The carpet, furniture, drapes were old, and the bed had the worst creaking when sat on. After half an hour, the room was not any warmer so we went down to tell them. Maintenance was going to look at it as we went to dinner. Arriving 2 1/2 hours later, our room was… 63 degrees. Talked to Hamilia again, who had maintenance address the issue again. He turned off the blowers and dropped off a space heater and promptly left without waiting to see if it worked. The heater did NOT even turn on. The hotel was sold out with only a room with 2 twin beds and for half price “for our inconven"
