"Great central location with parking. Great 3 night visit. Check in instructions only sent to us on the day after we started our journey, rather 24hour in advance. A little radio in the kitchen would be a nice addition."

"Good place. Ideal for exploring the town."

"Pleasant stay, good sized rooms. Perfect location as in easy walk to town and river. Overlooking abbey. A little noisy if sleeping in front bedrooms"

"Parking was no trouble the rooms was all clean and all big double beds and comfy Kitchen and lounge was lovely also couldn't fault it "

"We booked this for just one night. It cost just under 400 and it sounded fab. We opened the door on arrival and the smell of Indian food hit us like a brick wall. We had to leave all windows and doors open for hours. It was grimy and sticky and the cutlery and cups were filthy with food still stuck to them. The cups were smeared with brown marks inside. Two of the beds were brick hard. The floors and doors squeaked so badly and we could hear the neighbours doors opening and closing next door....

"Lovely house. Bedrooms were very nice. Nice and big dining room and lounges. "

"Beautiful place, ideally located. We had a wonderful short stay in Ellesmere."

"Location in relation to town centre and amenities"

"Our stay was perfect, and the hosts were lovely. No complaints at all."

Very comfortable and a lovely location with a field opposite to walk our dog. Ideal. The host has thought of all the things to make it a home from home. It's small, but has everything you need for a very enjoyable stay in a beautiful area."

There was no bin provided anywhere in the property, only loose bin bags left for guests to manage waste themselves. The bathroom showed visible mould around the shower area. This is a hygiene issue that should not be present in a paid short-term let. The sofa in...

"Comfortable and well situated for a short stay. Clean and tidy and fresh milk in the fridge - thanks."

"We had a wonderful stay at Glebe Cottage. We could not fault anything. Communications and directions were clear. The cottage was immaculate and well presented with beautiful views. Having the use of the hot tub was also a bonus. Highly recommend."

"Bungalow was lovely, clean and spacious "
