"The room was adequate and clean. The drapes did not close properly, the mattress was horrible, lumpy and front desk stated had to go through hotel.com. Rooms were never cleaned, understood per card in room that bed liens changed every 3 days, no problem, but when inquired at front desk, they stated they do not enter rooms until every 3 days. That was never stated either written ir verbal. Trash never emptied, dirty towels left on bathroom floor, never picked up, bed never made. Nothing in the room was every done daily The shower valve stuck, had to have housekeeping supervisor in 2 times to help with shower valve. We will never stay at this property in the future."

"I booked a room here based on the cleanliness reviews, and as a bonafide germaphobe, I can vouch for my room's cleanliness. The decor is outdated (black granite, cherry furniture, beige walls), but passable. The carpet was clean with no stains. My room was near the pool, and there was a noticeable pool smell, but it didn't bother me too much. The insulation between the upper and lower floors must be thin because I could hear the footsteps of the person above me. (Maybe request a second floor room.) I only grabbed coffee and yogurt for breakfast, so I can't really speak about the food. TIP: I didn't realize that the decorative longer curtains were not the black out curtains until the second day. They blocked the AC, so the room was too hot my first night. On further inspection, I realized that the shorter black out curtains were behind the sheers. Another tip is that the parking in front becomes quite crowded in the evening, especially with an overabundant amount of underused EV charging stations. I parked in the restaurant's lot next door and that seemed to be fine. Overall, it was a decent stay."

"Picked the location partly due to having a pool for 3 kids. The sign says “closed for cleaning”. So you would think it’s closed for cleaning. The kids got up the next day and put their suits on before breakfast- sign still up. The front desk says the ceiling fell down and it is out for a couple of months. So wouldn’t you update the website and actual sign? Dirty dishes still in the dishwasher Bowl broke ln and chipped still in circulation Shower pressure minimal Couldn’t get the fan to stay on so it kept auto running and you can hear the entire road next to us Breakfast was good and the space in the room was good."

"They are doing all they can given the area it’s in. The lobby has a bit of an elementary school feel to it. However, our rooms were well equipped and clean. Breakfast also had a lot more options than most other places offer. Staff was also very nice and helpful. I’d stay there again if I found myself in Waterville again."
