Peaceful paradise found

2 days in this gorgeous, well appointed property was not enough! The 4 of us really wished we had time to stay longer, we would definitely book again when coming back to the Victoria area. We especially loved the wilderness creatures coming for.a visit (bunnies and deer)

Perfect little place

This cottage was exactly what we wanted; far enough away to be relaxing and close enough to do things when we wanted to get out & about. Well appointed with mostly automated smart-home features made our vacation very pleasant. Everything we needed to cook, have fun, and relax! Nice & quiet area!

Fantastic stay on the island!

We absolutely loved our stay at this property. The downstairs game room equipped with a pool table and a movie theatre was the highlight for the kids! We loved how clean this home was, with all that we needed for basic breakfast and meals. Thank you again!

Living Cottage Life!

Truly enjoyed this lovely cottage for the weekend on the island. Well appointed and meticulously maintained it had everything we wanted and more. We will be looking for more opportunities to return to not only enjoy the island, but the cottage itself.

The perfect holiday home…

We had a lovely Christmas with our grown boys at this property. They loved it because of the pool table, hot tub and the theatre space for watching movies. I loved it because it felt brand new; fresh and very clean. It’s tastefully decorated and the beds were extremely comfy. Owners, who live next door, were wonderful to deal with. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone.

Amazing!

This property is beautiful. The house was incredibly clean, everything looks brand new. The rooms and beds were spacious and comfortable. The hot tub was a great way to relax. It is also extremely quiet in the area and provided a nice escape from the city. While sitting in the hot tub we got to watch deer and other animals wander through the yard. It was great! The house is very high tech, with motion sensors for the lights and Alexa control for many other things. Overall, this place was wonderful. It had everything we needed, and was super close to Sidney, which is a really cute town. I would definitely recommend this property.

Tranquility

This beautiful rental had everything we needed and more. Home away from home. Communication with the owners is great. Denis and Cathy checked in with us right as we arrived to make sure we had everything we needed. The hot tub was really nice to use. Nice to be able to wash our clothes if we needed. We would definitely stay here again.

Family Getaway

This house was perfect and beautifully decorated!!We decided to extend our Christmas vacation a couple extra days. Everything we needed was there and super accessible. Everyone was at our finger tips!!! The neighborhood was nice a quiet. The basement was so cool too. It has an old movies theme with pictures of old movies on the walls, such a neat place to spend our time watch tv!!! We also enjoyed looking up at the stars while enjoying late nights in the hot tub. We will definitely be back and would 100% recommend this house!! An other bonus is that the ferry terminal and air port are a 10 minute drive away!!

The area was absolutely beautiful! So quiet with lots of great walking trails nearby. We used Uber into town which was inexpensive and convenient. It’s close enough to town to conveniently get what we need but was far enough out of town to be secluded in nature. The house itself was beautiful with lots of neat features. The basement with the pool table and theater were really fun. The hot tub was very relaxing and was private. The kitchen was stocked with cooking utensils and pots and pans as well as some seasonings. Overall a very pleasant stay and would recommend to anyone looking for a nice relaxing stay.

Home away from home!

My adult daughter and I felt safe & comfortable in the rental. We were so happy that the pictures did not lie and that the house was super clean!! Loved the little town of Sidney, the Thursday evening market, and the walk along the beach. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. Two minor improvements in the rental would be a full length mirror and a heat source down stairs. Everything else was provided. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Want to live there!!

Many comforts and entertainment

The cottage has all the comforts of home. It is brand new with an amazing kitchen, walk in shower, two spacious bedrooms and so many televisions. There’s a hot tub and super nice covered deck. Downstairs is a pool table and a projection movie entertainment centre. We were very impressed. Thanks Denis.

Pristine modern home in quiet North Saanich

Absolutely beautiful home with many modern amenities that can be hard to find on the island. It felt like we were the first people to stay in a brand new property, everything worked perfectly. The AC was cold, the water was hot, all the lights worked intelligently and seamlessly. The outdoor space was a lovely quiet place to sit and enjoy the summer weather. The basement space I could see being lovely in the winter when the weather is a bit colder and wetter. My parents live near here and I've recommended this property for their guests to book in the future. When we come back for the holidays, we might book it again ourselves!

Beautiful cottage in the woods

This “cottage” is so perfect, away from the crowds, in a beautiful, serene area. Yet it is only minutes away from all the amenities of civilization. The house is beautifully decorated, very comfortable, modern conveniences and the outdoor hot tub which was a super treat. But probably our favorite was the pool/theater room in the basement. It is decorated in great style, with many movie posters and references to the theater. And the pool table was a beauty, with cues and a scoring board. The large screen and movie projector along with several choices for things to watch just made our after dinner entertainment perfect. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful when we had questions. We would LOVE to come back again for another visit.

Lovely & quiet with all the amenities

We enjoyed our stay and were more surprised with some of the extras this VRBO had to offer. Smart home devices and automatic lights at night when you walked into rooms were just a few of the extra little touches. Denis and Cathy were quick to reply and accommodated an early check in for us. We were attending a wedding that was only a few minutes down the street so it was a great location for us. Depending on your trip plans I’m not sure how the location would be. But this VRBO offers many things to do if you're looking for a quiet vacation in. Lovely backyard with covered hot tub incase the weather is unfavourable . TVs in almost every room and a full theatre. Along with a pool table. We would love to come back.
