"Beautiful house for anyone wanting peace and quiet, however house is empty most of the year and owners live abroad so nobody had checked all in order and 2 showers leaked and 1 air-condition unit not working, caretaker did what he could, owners didn’t contact us to check, also no instructions for appliances so for example we had to guess how dishwasher worked and small things were missing like a kettle"

"This was the perfect spot for our family. We have three kids ages 3, 5 and 7. It was amazing to have the heated pool and we took great advantage of it. It was easy to drive to beaches or into town and also great access to Granada for the day. The house is well stocked for cooking too. It was absolutely lovely and relaxing. The town of salobrena was great - not overrun by tourists but lively and active. It was the perfect spot!!!"

"This villa with its amazing views of sunrises and sunsets was a memorable part of our vacation in Southern Spain and Portugal. We were 3 couples from California traveling together, so the 4 bedroom villa was roomy and fit all our needs perfectly. Caretakers Liz and Barry welcomed us warmly on arrival and helped us figure out logistics including nearby grocery stores and restaurant options. One minor inconvenience that future travelers should be aware of is the absence of any shower gel or bath...

"A stunning property on the hillside above Salobrena. Las Vistas was clean and very well equipped for our week long stay. We had a lovely time there and spent a good deal of it admiring the fabulous view. It could get a bit breezy at times but I’m sure this wouldn’t be a problem in summer. A car is a must for a stay here as it is situated on the side of a very steep hill, hence the wonderful views. Communication with Claude the owner was good."

"The property sells itself with the view. The listing photos are 100% accurate but doesn’t do the view justice. It is reverse living (enter on the main floor with all bedrooms downstairs), but the amenities are complete. The outdoor spaces are numerous and very spacious. "The villa was even better than it looked in the photos, the pool is big and amazing, the views are wonderful. Everything we needed was there, beds were comfy, BBQ dinners on the balcony were memorable - local octopus is delicious. You do need a car as Salobrena is a long trek"

"We all loved our holiday at the Villa. The beautiful views were even more spectacular than we could have imagined and the villa, garden and pool were gorgeous. Sergie popped in to check the pool. He keeps it immaculate. Enjoyed exploring the surrounding areas and star gazing every night. The Villa had everything we needed and communication with Caroline was fast and very helpful. "First of all the welcome was perfect. Nicky met us at Castell de Ferro and guided us through the winding roads to the Villa. The house itself was huge and very well presented. With 5 spacious bedrooms and almost as many bathrooms. The children loved exploring every bit of it. In terms of amenities, the house is very well equipped had everything our family needed. There was even an extra fridge freezer in the laundry room (in case we got too carried away with our shopping). Entertainment wise...
