  • Welcome to House of the Sun 501! It’s your home away from home. The entire unit has been recently updated and is continuously improved. Beautiful porcelain floor tile throughout the common areas and newly carpeted bedrooms. Both baths are completely tiled with granite counters and grab bars in showers. Master bath has a built-in shower seat. Master bedroom has plenty of space to relax with king bed, 40“TV and a huge double closet. Guest bedroom has two twin beds with a 32” TV. Living room has a 55” TV and all new leather furnishings, love seat, sofa and electric recliner chair. The kitchen is fully furnished to enable you to prepare your favorite meal with ease. Washer and dryer at your fingertips. Relax and enjoy the #1 voted beach while sitting on the top floor balcony, which is equipped with table and four chairs and two chaise lounges. The view is breathtaking. A few steps away there is a large sun deck with lounge chairs and tables with chairs. It is also a great place to view the sunset with a beverage at the end of the day. Everything you need is within walking distance, restaurants, tiki bar, grocery store, drug store and boutique shops. Boat and fishing rentals are also to name a few. On your way to or from the beach you can enjoy the beautiful pool. New Weber grills are available for your barbecue needs. You will love your stay in 501! The condo was very clean and updated and had everything we needed (so much so that my wife was afraid she was going to have to cook. Lol!) We were especially pleased with the fact that after being there a week, the maids came in and changed our bedding and brushed up the place. That was very much appreciated.

Reviewer Comments: All good as usual in the HOS , but, since the chairs and umbrellas became a business ,and the tents were banned not so friendly out there anymore . Forgetting your “chair pass” can make the umbrella police not happy. Summers are getting hotter and the tents make a difference , this should be reviewed , maybe enforce take down before sunset , or any other thing , but banning them and charging for the umbrellas , not cool

Big plus is the distance to the water across the sand. A shorter walk to the water makes beach set up easier. Dining and shops across the street from condo you can easily walk to. Completely secured building even to use elevators.

Needs some things tho, the kitchen could use some new skillets and such, musty smell in the hallway near the back bedroom. The condo is nice but ready for some updates, way too much furniture that's not used or needed. We only had access to the balcony for Monday, it was being repainted and the one day job took all week.We were aware the painting we going to be done that week but man they are very slow. Over all we were very happy and will stay again with you.

It was very clean and had everything we could want. it was within walking distance to a lot of nice restaurants and the grocery. We did rent a car but did not have to use it very much. Would definitely try to rent the same condo again in the future.
