The Hotel is in a fantastic position for use of the MRT and walking to Chinatown etc.The staff are very professional and helpful. I would recommend the Singapore Dorsett Hotel to anyone who wants a great value stay in a great district of Singapore.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.

We loved the location of the hotel. It was directly accessible to 3 main underground lines. The hotel itself is old & therefore tired. We had a room where the auto-closing door didn't shut properly & the fridge was broken. We were moved but the next room didn't have an end cap on the tap so water whooshed everywhere. We didn't ask to move as we wanted to unpack & figured they'd have another issue in the next room as the hotel is old and in need of updates. The shower was good & powerful.

Really close to Outram MRT to get you anywhere. Gym and pool are decent and the rooms are quite spacious and clean! Overall pretty good hotel, the bar is abit small and did not have breakfast at the hotel to comment.

The towels are really old as some reviews have mentioned and coming off the seams. Vent and lighting can clearly see some mold. The shower has a bit of a smell coming from the drain before the soaps cover the scent which isn't the most hygienic. The phone does not work to contact the reception. No bathrobes. Honestly thought this was a 3 star hotel from the state of it, but being a 4 star hotel this is a really bad experience. The location is truly the best thing going for the hotel and the only reason why I booked it

While some things could be improved eg better quality towels, hairdryer & iron worked but we’re old & worn, the rooms & staff were excellent I particularly want to commend the GM for making an effort for the Grand Prix weekend. The drinks etc & the opportunity to meet with guests & staff was fabulous. Would definitely stay here again. The location is also brilliant
