"I had to make a last-minute booking for work and stayed here. I met the owner—his name was Mony (pronounced Moony, I believe). I was late checking in, but he took great care of me. He gave me a tour of the property and let me sit and chat in the bar as he was closing.
This bar/hotel is very, very cool. I can’t recommend it enough for people passing through on road trips or bike trips. They have live music regularly and a beautiful patio out back. I will absolutely make a point to come back here...

"The staff were exceptionally friendly and informative. The room was spotless and felt welcoming and comforting. As a matter of fact, the entire hotel had a welcoming and warm atmosphere. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely recommend the hotel to our friends and family. The dog package was an unexpected plus. Thank you to the staff for making our stay so enjoyable. We will definitely be back."

"Like that it was a short drive to Lancaster which has quaint little shops and local town restaurants. The Cooper Marsh is a short drive away; it has nice walking trails.
The cottage is across the street from the St Lawrence river but there was no direct access to water nearby for swimming or soaking feet within walking distance."
