We had a family suite which was spacious, clean and well decorated. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast had plenty choice and food was really nice, if anything ran out you just had to ask for more and it got brought out. Pool area was really pretty and enough beds and shades. Would recommend.

The communication before arrival was good, and upon check-in, Sonia was really helpful and informative. The parking on site is really useful. The location is about 10 minutes drive away from the old centre of Sirmione and the ferry, so easy to access. But there are a selection of good restaurants, gelaterias and supermarkets near the hotel, so actually it was nice to be away from the busy centre! Pool was mostly quite and enjoyable. Overall, staff were very helpful and polite!

Not worth staying there. Never in my life experienced a smaller bathroom! Need to bring the property to the 21st century standards. Reasonable breakfast.

Good evening,we thank you for the review.We are sorry that you did not enjoy your stay, but it seems a little strange to us, we have many customers who come and go and nobody has ever complained about the rooms. Besides, you had newly "refurbished" rooms.In our defence, however, we can say that the room measurements are written in the info. If you needed a bigger room, you could get a larger room. It also seems absurd to leave us a "1" as an evaluation only because the bathroom was small (which is the standard size of a 3-star hotel), so it's not our fault.However, we wish you a good day.Andrea, Hotel Gardenia Sirmione

Friendly and welcoming Hotel Gardenia.
Really enjoyed our 1 night stay at HG which was keenly priced for a 3 star hotel in early May. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Room was fine, nothing fancy but very clean with a comfy bed. Breakfast was good with gf options which suited my individual needs and a range of other items to suit others' tastes - coffee average surpringly for Italy! Only slight negatives are that the shower cubicle isn't big so that might be an issue for a larger bodied person and no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Good pool (not heated) too and plenty of sunbeds which we were allowed to use after check-out. Also close to Shuttle Bus pick up point to Sirmione old town which takes 5-10 mins and motorway to either Milan or Verona. Parking on site too and 2 decent restaurants close by, 1 of which we had time to sample for lunch - 3 course for 15 euro on weekdays. Would recommend Hotel Gardenia and stay there again if visiting the area again.

This was easily the best Italian hotel we have ever stayed in & we go to Italy 2-3 times a year. They were so friendly and helpful. We even had our flights cancelled by easyjet, decided to drive out anyway and they shifted our booked a few days to accommodate last minute. Can’t recommend Hotel Gardenia highly enough! Aircon in room, comfortable beds and pillows, breakfast included and was delicious! Pool is lovely, nothing is too much trouble. Rooms are quiet and location is great with tons to walk to. They even had free parking available too. Kids were happy there was good wifi and they provided drinks from the bar to the pool or your room. 10/10!

Lovely stay
We stayed for one night after a week in Garda/Bardolino. We were very impressed. We are a family of 5 and had more than enough room. The pool was great too. Everything was very clean and it felt safe in the current climate (covid)

Very good value for money
Very good value for money, especially in this area of Sirmione. We had a 15m2 room and expected a very tiny space, which was not that bad at all. It was pretty spacious for 4people! The hotel is very close to the bus stop, where you can catch the bus to basically anywhere: Sirmione, Peschiera la Garda, Verona and etc. Good breakfast as well. Although we stayed for 5days and would appreciate smth different at least every other morning.

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. When we arrived they appointed a staff to show us around (the breakfast hall, the bar, the pool) and up to our booked room for 5 persons. The breakfast had varieties of salt and sweets. The room was clean. The location of the hotel is very close to a bus stop plus there is a bike rental office just in front of it. Restaurants and supermarket are within short walk from the hotel.

We stayed only 1 night. The staff was rude starting with the receptionist. They don’t speak English or French at all. In the morning I wanted to have a cappuccino with 5 minutes before the opening (8:00 am) but they told me that I have to wait because the machine is not warm enough. The big problem was with the AC unit who works only on/off for a pre selected temperature. The room /bathroom was very small. We were 3 adults. Instead, the breakfast was good enough. It’s not worth the money. Overall I do not recommend this hotel.

Beautiful pool but oudated room
Very nice pool and breakfast, but the Room needs some refurbishment as for drapery and AC that you cannot control but only on/off. The Bathroom has smallest shower I have seen but served the purpose. Same as room, this bathroom was modern 20 years ago when bide was must and due that bathroom ended with small shower. Overall would recommend as for the price, cleanliness and breakfast. If owner decide to refurbish little bit rooms it could be great place

Beautiful Grounds!
Beautiful resort style hotel, not too far from the Lake. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous. It was great to sit outside by the pool, surrounded by the beautiful, well kept landscaping. The rooms are a bit outdated and not overly clean. We had a large two bedroom suite which was perfect for our family of four. Breakfast was ok.

Easy access location.
Hotel is well located near many restaurants and bars but does require a long walk or bus to Sirmione. It’s good value and the on site parking and breakfast are attractive bonuses. A good hotel for families or those looking for better value.

Great hotel
Room was very spacious. Beds were very comfortable. The staff was service oriented and treated kindly with any request. Hotel location was good for us , as we planned a star trips. There are some good restaurants on the street near the hotel.

Great Hotel in Sirmione
Friendly staff, great facilities for a 3 star hotel. Breakfast lots of choice and quality excellent. Only let down by no lift to top floor and no English channel on TV. Hence not 5 stars in every category.
