Our flight was severely delayed which meant arriving at 2am the morning. The FLEXIPASS check in meant we were able to access the apartment immediately after a very long day. Apartment was warm. comfortable and clean. Kitchenette well equipped so we did not have to eat out all the time. Central location to Reykavik everywhere was walkable. Only negative is you have to pay for parking.

The hotel was very clean and the rooms were nice and spacious. We had a lovely view of the ocean, and the hotel room and lobby areas were beautifully decorated. It was also close to a very good restaurant which I would highly recommend, Potturinn og Pannan which was literally down the street and around the corner. Reykjavik Roasters is a coffee shop also just down the street (in the opposite direction.) There is also a small grocery store behind the hotel, just around the block. Just so you know, they no longer have a restaurant, which was a disappointment to find out when we arrived, as we would be arriving back late from our tours and thought it would be convenient. The breakfast that they served sounded so good on paper: oatmeal, yogurts, cheeses, fresh fruits, pancakes, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, hard boiled eggs (or soft, not sure which), breads, cheeses, fruit juices, etc. But in reality the scrambled eggs are sitting there in a bowl and of course they are not hot. Same wit the pancakes. I saw the oatmeal in a big black electric pot and thought, there is something hot. Nope. The oatmeal was lukewarm. I just want to let people know for about $36 USD this is what you get. Otherwise, nice hotel! I liked it.
