We availed ourselves of the bar and the drinks were spot on. for food we all had the steak pie which was fabulous. "Beautiful hotel in wooded setting. We stayed in the courtyard room outside of main hotel. Very quiet. We added breakfast which was very nice & convenient in the lovely dining room. Only issue was the bed comfort. There were “straps” joining the mattress to make it a larger size but no mattress cover which was quite uncomfortable. Our request for a mattress cover & top sheet be added was done before bed. Duvets are nice but very warm so top sheet was perfect."
