"Overall appearance updated and clean. We had difficulty checking in virtually. The room keypad would not accept the codes we were given. Spent about an hour in the hallway while waiting for remote staff to solve the issue. They ending up assigning us to another room and emailed a $25 gift card as a consolation. Room had a few other quirks, (too few towel bars, loose toilet seat) but was basically fine."

"The room was great, the bed was very comfortable and the room was very quiet. The free "made to order" breakfast was very good and there are NO pet fees. Next time I'm in the area I will definitely be staying there again."

"Our stay in Oakland was exactly what we were looking for. Right on the water - semi secluded, but close to stores, beautiful view and dog friendly! We loved that we could bring both of our babies with no weight restrictions (they are not little). They loved hanging with us by the fire and by/in the water. Firewood is even provided. However, the shed was empty for us, but we found a man pretty close by that sold us two wheelbarrows worth for 10 so it all worked out. That’s my one tiny negative, but not enough to affect the rating. Thank you Jason!"

"This was a wonderfully clean and comfortable little motel that is obviously well cared for by the proprietor. We had a quiet moment drinking a refreshing beverage and listening to birdsong in the evening in their spacious, private back garden. Beds are comfortable and everything was spotless. Cant be beat for the price."

"Wicked nice, clean cabin right on the lake in quiet neighborhood! Cozy screened in porch to enjoy morning coffee and firepit by the lake to relax by at night. The owner was super nice and welcoming! Great place for couples to get away and dog friendly. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back when we are in the area."
