The rooms and hotel were very clean. Easy to navigate and hotel was very communicative through email. The reception is off site so you will not have a love staff but we had zero problems. Parking for the hotel/in the hotel is around a few spaces (10 or so) and if there’s no parking, you can park right alongside the hotel. Great breakfast in the AM and beer and games at night in the lobby/food area.

The only staff we were in contact with was housekeeping and every interaction with them, they were very rude. The toilet had fecal matter on the outside of the toilet bowl.

We enjoyed this Guesthouse immensely! It was close to town, making the city walkable, near bus stops to catch Hop-on-and-off Bus, or walk to the Harbor. It was clean, easy to find, and very comfortable! Shared bathrooms, but very clean too. We will use again!

"The hotel staff allows us to check in early. The food in the hotel restaurant is great. However, not much dining options in the town. Close the a few tourist attractions around Lake Myvatn. Along the ring road, so very convenient. Guest can sign up to receive Aurora phone call if they spot one."
