"Our family had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home on the lake. The house and location are really spectacular. The views of Lake Michigan and the sunsets really make it worth being right on the water. The home is modern, well appointed, and has everything we needed to have a great stay. "The home and property was lovely. We had a great time every day at the beach. The surrounding is serene. The tram was a big help. The house was clean. All the kids loved bunking together in the basement. The only complaint would be that the host didn’t respond to any of our emails, texts, or phone calls leading up to our stay, but we managed to figure things out on our own."

"The property was very well furnished and clean, and easy for my family to feel at home. We enjoyed being near beaches and Holland while having a quiet retreat for evenings. The back deck was perfect for relaxing in the evenings. The only thing missing was the hot tub that had been on the listing but it didn't matter since the beach was so close."

"The views of Lake Michigan from the house, the decks and the beach were excellent! Very clean, well-stocked kitchen. Quiet surroundings. Appreciated the easy checkout process with no responsibility for laundry - we've been asked by other hosts to start loads when leaving.The odd thing was the host had no information about if we could have a fire on the beach. We thought the host would know local fire regulations. They just sent local township ordinances related to rental units when we asked the question."

"This was an awesome stay for us!! The house was impeccably clean and had many nice touches such as charging outlets by the beds, toiletries, beach chairs/umbrella, nice oversized towels, beach towels, Roku TVs which were easy to sign into, and a digital guidebook which had a lot of useful info about the house and area. It seemed very well thought out what guests might need and with small kids I appreciated there weren’t too many tchotchkes around. The decor is nice - pretty tile work throughout, quality furniture and the home is very very well kept. The front porch is lovely and the surrounding area is thick woods and feels private yet neighborly. The host was very easy to get in touch with. For mobility challenges: note that the living room and kitchen are on the second floor and the stairs have a bannister on only one side at the end (we used a baby gate which was provided to keep our kids safe). Also note that the walk to the beach is up a steep gravel path and then down a 3-4 story set of dune stairs but there are very accesible beaches a nearby drive away such as Tunnel Beach and Grand Haven. This property was a home run for us - it is a really well kept home and we had not a single complaint!"

"We just got back from a wonderful week-long family vacation at this property. The view of Lake Michigan and the gorgeous sunsets were absolutely stunning and something we already miss. It was my husband, myself, our son and daughter-in-law and our five-month-old grandbaby, along with our two dogs, and we had plenty of space. The kitchen was incredible and well stocked, so we made many great meals there. We enjoyed Holland and Saugatuck, some great restaurants, playing pickleball, beach time, long walks, World Cup matches on their nice TV and comfy couch, and just generally enjoying time together. Thanks for providing a beautiful home for us to get some much-needed family time together!"

"Lake and beach access were fantastic. The basement was unfinished as a bedroom (concrete floors, fluorescent lights) and really cold, so our kids didn’t want to sleep there. We made it work, but I wouldn’t rely on the bunks there if you have young children."
