I have never used the word expceptional in a review, but truely have no comments. The place is very nicely decorated simple and elegent. Brakfast amazing selection with real coffe. Staff very nice. The location is right inside the old town.

Hotel is really unique in Ljubljana, with industrial design and architecture it is really nice. Rooms are big and comfortable, beds are very comfortable. Rooms also very well maintained and very clean. Parking is available, walking distance to shopping center. The only thing "bothering" is the elevator which is very slow, but that is no reason to not give an excellent rating as hotel deserves it.

I stayed 2 days at the Hotel Lonca in Skofja Loka on business earlier this week. I arrived late on the Sunday night and Robert the Night Manager checked me in. He was polite, professional and efficient but above all so helpful on any questions I had, including the all important internet access. Amazing, romantic one night stay! The double room had a lovely view of the river and was spacious. The bed was fabulously comfortable, and the pillows of good quality. There were oodles of Salvatore Ferragamo amenities too. We did not eat dinner but breakfast was if an extremely high standard. There was also a welcome gift in the room of a platter of dried fruit and hazelnuts.

This was our second visit to Slovenia, but our first stay at Hotel Kendov Dvorec. As you can expect from any Relais Chateaux association hotel, the service, friendliness, and overall experience of Kendov Dvorec was phenomenal. Every room is individually designed and some may find the quirkiness disconcerting. Personally I thought our room was great, even though it had a shower pod in the middle of the room! Overall, the hotel is very clean and modern, with a good choice of food for breakfast. There is no restaurant and the small bar serves only snacks.
