"Home is dirty, soft spots in the floor in main traffic areas. Front door doesn’t close correctly, looks like it has been kicked open. Furniture is old and not comfortable at all. Steps are slimy and slick when wet. The smell of fabuloso will knock you out. We stayed one night and then booked something else. Zero communication from host."

"We truly enjoyed our stay! Jon was wonderful and easy to get a hold of when we had any questions before and during our stay. The house had everything that we needed and you can tell the owners truly care about their guests by all the little extra items that were provided. We had wonderful family time and the beach being so close was great! Highly recommend booking this place and we hope to come back soon!"

"Air conditioning and hot water was great! Layout of the beach house was cozy. Dogs loved the stay also. I went here for a small vacation for me and my daughter. She absolutely loved every minute. The hosts checked with me every day to make sure everything was comfortable for me. I truly thank them for a wonderful stay!"

"This is our second time booking this beach house. It's a fantastic house that is literally steps away from the beach. More than enough space for a big family. We're a family of 6 and had plenty of room. Super easy check-in, check-out, house is spotless, and while we're just guests it always feels like home. If you're looking for a great house in Port Bolivar this is the one!"

"Really cute cabin but VERY small There is really no place to put anything. My husbandis 6'"3 "and could not use the shower in the cabin because his head hit the top, He had to use the outside shower. But there are no lights in the outside shower or any place to hang your clothes while your there. We both hit our heads multiple times on the attractive but too low decorative boards on the porch and on the tv in the cabin. Also, the lighting in the cabin is awful. There was a constant glare on the tv and even on the book I was reading. The cabin also needs additional light in the kitchen. The kitchen could use a toaster oven.. The parking area was a mud hole Also,,the trash dumpster had trash spilling out of it and was all over the ground. All that being side we enjoyed our week there and plan on returning. And even recommending them to others."

"Extremely disappointed with our stay. The property was infested with fire ants—even on outdoor furniture. There was black mold on railings and furniture, plus trash scattered around yards and parking areas. The internet was painfully slow.The couches and beds looked like second-hand store furniture covered with cheap slipcovers. Parts of the flooring are coming up and appear damaged. The washer/dryer rattles the entire floor loudly when running, and the microwave sounds like a V8 truck engine. This place is NOT what is advertised online. The photos are misleading.Property management was terrible. No Issues were resolved. Only delayed texts or emails, with little urgency and no in-person assistance.The hot tubs barely worked. Ours, along with neighboring units, would not heat above 89F, and once jets were turned on, the temperature dropped rapidly. Even worse, we received electrical shocks while plugging in tiki lights due to what appeared to be faulty outlets or grounding. That is a serious safety hazard.This property needs inspection by licensed maintenance, electrical, and sanitation professionals. We spent good money expecting a quality stay and feel completely ripped off. Nearby properties appeared far nicer and better maintained.The only positive was the beach view. Everything else fell far below expectations. Also, the on-site golf carts were rusted and poorly maintained near trash areas.Two words describe Salty Suites: FALSE ADVERTISING."
