"The property is located on a hill on the outskirts of Hunnebostrand and is a lengthy walk to the centre where the restaurants/shops are. The property needs better signage as it is hard to find. It is clearly new and some finishing touches are still needed, particularly the walkway in which is missing some paving stones and is a potential trip hazard at night. Property is basic but was clean. Towels were provided but only comprised bath towels; hand towels and a dish towel would be welcome additions. It is very small and the bedrooms are claustrophobic especially the upstairs one which has no headroom whatsoever; not suitable for adults. The stair up is a ladder that would not suit everybody. The downstairs bedroom is almost entirely taken up by the bed with access only from one side as you come in. The property has a lot of glass and was very warm, even with two fans working full time with the doors open. In summary the property did not meet our expectations"

"Detta hotell var det sämsta hittills. Vi reser mycket med 30 hotell övernattningar per år. Rummen var kalla Sängarna var dåliga. Badrummet ersatte kylskåpet, vilket var bra för att kyla bubbel. Obefintlig utsmyckning i gult målade rum"

"We had an awesome stay at Strandflickornas. For travelers visiting soon, the hotel is under renovation so the dining and convenience is a little tricky. Breakfast was down the road a 5 min walk and dinner was a 3 min walk down the hill in different properties. Dining menu is quite limited to 3 things. If you ask 2 days in advance there is an additional shellfish option however if you don’t ask, it basically a chicken sandwich or fish soup. The fish soup is amazing. The walk to the rooms by the water is quite difficulty with heavy luggage. We had to carry our kids up and down the rocks and stairs as well as 50lb suitcases which was not easy. If mobility impaired, I wouldn’t not recommend staying here. The room is amazing. There was even a projector above the bed to project Disney plus which the kids loved. The hot tub was great. Overall, great experience but the construction and dining situation is a little annoying currently (we were warned about this ahead of time) but with kids it was inconvenient. Highly recommend staying here. It’s a gem of a hotel. "
