"I stayed at Hilton Daytona for my graduation celebration, and I was honestly expecting much more based on my experiences with other Hilton properties. Unfortunately, the room felt very outdated — almost stuck in time. The furniture and decor looked old, and there was no proper seating area in the room, which was disappointing for a hotel at this level. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, and both bathroom sinks had slow drainage issues. The bathtub also drained slowly. Additionally, the closet was broken, and the refrigerator did not cool properly. The AC was not functioning consistently, which made the room uncomfortable at times. In the South Tower, only 2 out of 4 elevators were working, causing delays and inconvenience throughout the stay. The only real highlight was the ocean view — that part was beautiful. Don Rico’s drinks were decent, and Hyde Park Restaurant was excellent, with great food and service — truly the best part of the experience. Overall, for such a special occasion, I expected better quality, maintenance, and comfort. There are definitely better and more affordable options nearby. I would recommend visiting Daytona Beach, but staying somewhere else."

"Stayed for 5 days. The rooms were fine overall, but it’s definitely an older hotel. We were visiting during Bike Week, so there weren’t many hotel options available. Unfortunately, we had a major issue with the fire alarm in our room. On Saturday night, it started beeping in the middle of the night. We reported it at 5:00 AM and were told it would be fixed. When we returned later that evening, it was still beeping. Someone was sent up to fix it, and it stopped for a few hours — but then it started again in the middle of the night. This same situation continued for three days. Every day, I went down to the front desk to ask them to fix it. Each time, they would attempt a repair, it would stop briefly, and then start beeping again a few hours later. We endured two completely sleepless nights with a loud beep going off every single minute. On the third night, after we were at our breaking point, they finally offered to move us to another room — at 9:45 PM. To make matters worse, the desk clerk that evening acted as though we were a major inconvenience. She basically tossed the new room keys at me without so much as an apology. I understand things happen, especially during busy events, but three days of an unresolved fire alarm issue and the lack of customer service made this stay extremely frustrating."

"Do you like dirty floors, fly covered walls, hair and make up marked pillows and sheets that isnt yours in the bed, sludge plugged shower, a tv with 6 channels, a room phone that doesnt work and a staff that doesnt give a damn? Then this is your spot.. how this spot got a 9.6 score blows me away. The people that scored this place so good must stay at some scary places."

"We saw a lot of bad reviews about this place, but we’re so glad we didn’t listen. Our room was super clean, and the staff was absolutely amazing — so much so that we ended up extending our stay. The only downside is that the hotel could definitely use some serious updates. The exterior, in particular, could use a facelift. That being said, the service more than made up for it. The gentleman working at night with the beard was extremely helpful, and the bar staff was fantastic. Overall, we had a great experience and would stay again."
