Sobra Hotel Guide - Hotels with Pool in Sobra, Mljet

"This wonderful property surpassed all our expectations: location (seafront), view (sea view with sun setting over bay), size of room (bigger than it looked on the photos), garden and pool (beautiful) and facilities (air con, well stocked kitchenette with dishwasher, great shower, free pool towels etc.). There was free parking but we didn’t need it as the local bus (12) stopped a couple of minutes walk away. We ate on the terrace looking out over the sea (groceries available from supermarket next door) and lounged by the pool (plenty of sun loungers and parasols). The local restaurants were great with prices matching Dubrovnik. We absolutely loved it here and wished we could stay longer. What a gem!"

"The hotel Odisej is positoned at the waterfront for direct access to the sea and boasts commanding views of Pomena bay which is stunning, particularly at sunset. It is also located just seconds from the foot passenger ferry drop off which is extremely convenient and only a short walk from the national park entrance. The national park is essentially 2 salt lakes which are fantastic for swimming in as well as featuring an old monastery on an island. Reception sells the park entrance tickets which were valid for the entirety of our 10 night stay. The swimming area in front of the hotel was very busy and loungers were reserved with towels from early in the morning but there's also a lot of flat rock with overhanging trees for shade a short walk along the bay. The water is clear and good for snorkeling with plenty of juvenile fish and other small life. The rooms aren't huge, the bathroom was especially very compact but they are comfortable and clean. The real wood furniture and fixtures are actually very high quality and stylish. In general the hotel could do with some updating such as room keycard entry which was still physical key. There was a couple of power outages during our stay and the backup power kicked in very quickly. The staff are very friendly and caring and there's a nice atmosphere around the place. Food was good and plentiful and I recommed taking half board as restaurants nearby are not cheap. The hotel pizzeria was our go to for lunch. Lovely place and service."

"AMAZING! absolutely perfect, great staff - special mention to George and Jair at the bar Pool didnt get crowded at all either, Food great quality, huge portions - only downside they didn't have children's size options. Tips: get up early before the village awakes and visit the small pebble beach directly opposite the hotel, Your own private beach Get the 6.50pm ferry to Lopud, have dinner on the water, watch the sun go down then get the last ferry back to Sipan Get the bus to the other side of the island The restaurant next door is great, family run but busy so make sure you book in advance Transfer is worth it for the ease of mind Will be back"

"We had an excellent stay for 9 nights. Great location, with pool and swimming in the sea. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would recommend for any type of stay to experience the Croatian coast. "
