Second time we've stayed here on a road trip from UK to Denmark, and both stays have been good, pleasant staff, clean, comfy, warm rooms - just what you need before another day driving.

Good - overall!
The hotel is in a very pleasant area with plenty to do. Staff were welcoming and accommodated our request for food 10 minutes before the kitchen was due to close. Nice atmosphere in the restaurant and friendly service. The family room was a good size. On the whole it was clean, with the exception of the floor once we separated one set of twin beds to create two singles. It was apparent that the floor underneath the beds hadn’t been cleaned for some time. The bathroom was a little ‘tired’, but clean. Plenty of parking on site. Whilst there one of our party suffered an upset stomach. We can’t say this is as a result of eating there, or somewhere else he’d eaten earlier in the day, but it marred our stay. Having said that, we’d return.

Falling short.. just a little
It saddens me that, to reduce cost, Fletcher chooses plastic egg cups, paper cups in the bedroom/bathroom, no active kitchen staff present and most frustratingly an 80cm wide single bed in the twin room.. breakfast was reasonable but it is difficult to have some personalised fried eggs or omelets.. where is the staff? Because of the width of the bed and the ease by which the beds moved it was very uncomfortable for my tall frame to turn or move even a little etc etc.. Theor excuse for these beds was that it was standard with.. mmmm at least in Belgium they have formalised standard to be 10cm wider.. (One more thing.. outside access to the rooms bit no umbrellas..)

Dear John, Thank you for your review. We will stop with the paper cups in the room as soon as the paper cups are out of our inventory. The beds are indeed 80 cm wide in all rooms with single beds. In case you will be here next time it might be best to book a standard double room and to call us to make sure that we will not give you an upgrade to a room with single beds. Hopefully we will welcome you again in our hotel.

Good area, but..
Bad service, the room is not too clean and the bathroom is too small. Also we had a priblem with the payment and there is no one who you can talk to.

Awesome, boutique hotel
Everything was wonderful. Friendly staff. Clean rooms. My only complaint is the number of flies in the room due to lack of screens. Also, no air conditioning or fan. Otherwise, great hotel and would stay there again.

Large amount of flies in restaurant all over the place on which no action was taken. Hotel seem to be understaffed and inexperienced. Men's bathroom on ground level was broken during the whole week of stay on which no action was taken. Electronic room key stopped working daily and had to be replaced multiple times.

Dear guest, Thank you for your feedback. We are very sorry to hear that the room key stopped working every day. We will have an extra look at it. About the flies, we have a lot of problems with them. Of course we are in a surrounding with many farmers so some flies are accepted. However, we are aware of the fact that it are way too many flies. Every night we kill about 100 of them. We are having a special company over to try to get rid of them. We understand that it is no good and are very sorry about it. We will evaluate about the staff. Thank you very much for your feedback. Overall it's a good small hotel, but it doesn't feel like a four star. Breakfast choice is very limited: the only hot things are scrambled and boiled eggs, and bacon. No sausages of any kind. Four types of cold cuts, two types of cheese. So, if you have breakfast already included in your room rate - it will, certainly, do, but don't pay extra (something like €16 per person!) for it. Windows of some rooms that are not in the main building are one meter from the parking lot. And there is no ventilation or AC, so you'll have to open your windows, and then get smoke smell in your room, or noise in the morning. No toiletries, just universal 3-in-1 dispensers. With a subpar content as well (you know the type - the one that not that good for either of those 3). On the plus side: bed was quite good, sitting area was quite nice as well. Great idea about giving you the choice of skipping maid service for a €5 coupon to the restaurant. Good parking and the bus stop is right outside.

Great for cycling and walking.
We have stayed here before in one of the larger annex rooms. This time we stayed in a standard room which was in the main building next to the main road. During the day there was lots of traffic but hardly any at night so were not troubled by traffic noise. Coffee/tea making facilities are available at an extra cost. We liked their current deal that for every day you do not require your room to be serviced you get a money off voucher towards terras consumption or dinner. We cycled into nearby towns. You can hire bikes (and e-bikes)and the hotel has bike storage with charging facility. It is also close to woods with dunes. Great for walking and cycling. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel for busses to Amersfoort station and Hilversum.

Good service from staff to keep my head cool
I had a small room at the front of the hotel, roadside. A bit noisy on a weekday, but traffic did slow down in the evening. The room was good for a one night stay after a long day in a nearby city. It was clean. Bathroom was very small. It was a hot summer day and the room was too. Front desk supplied a ventilator to provide some cool air. Good service.

Not a bad stay, good breakfast, but disappointed with the floor in my room, it was a vinyl which is not a problem, but it was just vacuumed not moped. So you have to wear your shoes when walking around. Overall if you don't expect much it's fine.

Het hotel had niet vermeld dat je in huisjes rondom het terrein logeert. Dus voor het ontbijt ga je door mogelijk regen naar de faciliteiten vh hotel. Begreep ook niet of dit tijdelijk of definitief was. Receptie ook buiten het hotel. Ik moest wat zoeken. Verder heerlijk gelegen en veel privacy. Was fijn verblijf.

Geweldige dagen gehad, prachtige kamer. Alleen met 4 personenen achter elkaar douchen wou niet, want de laatste had dan geen warm water meer. Kwam doordat er een boiler hing. Verder ontbijt zaal erg krap, maar qua eten misten wij niets.
