"The property is not well main"

"Perfect location - walk out front and you are right at the outdoor mall. Younger kids loved having the indoor pool. Beautiful facilities!"

"My main complaint was the pool wasnt working. I had 2 children and we planned on spending time there, we were never told by the staff, even during reservation making. "

"Clean facility, friendly staff. It was a five minute walk to the historic downtown mall. Parking on site had plenty of room. I would definitely recommend for anyone looking to stay in downtown Charlottesville. "

"I’m a very light sleeper and since this hotel is right off of a major highway; I didn’t get any sleep at all lastnight. The sounds of the cars along with people blasting music outside ruined the night But the hotel is beautiful. Staff is very friendly "

"No working elevator for a room on the third floor, no air conditioning in the hallway, only one entrance for the entire building. Terrible cancellation policies. Overall not a pleasant experience. "

"Hotel was not what i expected. Construction workers, many of them staying there. Very loud outside, drinking beer and hanging outside the rooms. Eventually, they quieted down around 930pm. Parking lot very full with big trucks, parked far away from my room and walked with luggage up narrow stairwell. Booked for 2 nights but only stayed 1. I was afraid of Friday night party given my experience with Thursday night. Breakfast was carb only, no variety and im diabetic. Not diabetic friendly. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. I will say staff was very kind and curious, only thing I'll recommend. "
