"We had a great stay in a modern apartment at Residenza Olivo. We only stayed for 3 nights, but overall, it is a clean, good-sized apartment. The staff has been helpful and the accommodation was neat and clean. We had some trouble with the dishwasher, but it was sorted out by the maintenance team in a quick time. Overall a good place to stay with family. Garda is a good place to live because it is cheaper compared to all other Lake Garda towns and restaurants are cheaper for eating out."

Accommodation states that rooms have air conditioning, this is not the case, they have a plug in fan which is in no way sufficient during 34 deg C heat, very uncomfortable sleeping conditions. "It seemed quite affordable at first but after you add in all the charges for towels, linens, toilet paper, room cleaning, etc. you are better off paying more for a different hotel. This camping ground is unlike any other camping ground that we have stayed at, this one makes you pay for everything. Even the on site market was quite pricey. "Lovely place. Convenient place near the castle. Excellent breakfast and you could boil your own eggs! Good variety of breakfast spread. Slippers and bathrobes were a lovely touch. Good size towels (bath sheets). Good quality bathroom products that were complimentary. Swimming pool on the roof! Very nice and convenient addition. "

"My husband and I had an amazing stay here. The food was great, the staff was friendly, they offered us lots of snacks and plenty of water in our rooms, daily housekeeping, just all in all a great experience. We got married at Isola del Garda, just a 30 minute boat ride from the dock behind the hotel which was convenient. The asthetic of the property was very elegant, old money luxury. We loved the heated outdoor pool for when the sun was out, and we enjoyed the indoor spa and heated pool for when it rained. The only complaints I have is that the area isn't very walkable, and the taxis are insanely high priced. We had the hotel call us a taxi to go about 16 minutes up the street and back & paid 75€. Insane. Public transportation is the only thing that makes sense in Italy unless you're on a splurge. "

"Lovely hotel in a great location on the shores of Lake Garda. We had a comfortable two-night stay here with our toddler, and enjoyed the location and excellent breakfast. The bar is especially excellent at this hotel - not only is the range of drinks huge and varied (there's even a range of local beers, not just Heineken), but it's very reasonably priced. Quality hotel, I recommend it!"
