It took us a while for somebody to reply to our calls and messages to be able to check in and get the lockbox number for the room but once inside it was a lovely surprise, thank you.very clean place definitely recommend it!!!

Great location and choice

Season was ending and a previous property decided to close early so they referred us here. It was perfect for what we needed. Great location. New and clean. Easy to use a key box for our arrival and checkout. Just off the highway but the traffic at night must have been light and not a bother to us.

This place was a pleasant surprise. It is located slightly out of town, but it is new, clean and spacious. We had a two bedroom unit with a furnished kitchen. All of the rooms are tastefully decorated. Parking is easy. The family that manages the property is super helpful. We really appreciated the great hospitality. We had a great experience.

The actual unit was very nice, clean, modern and spacious. The check in process was very confusing as there was no one to check us in on arrival and no instructions about what to do. Eventually discovered need to call management. It took several calls to reach them and then they gave us instructions for getting into unit. The apt. is near the highway and quite noisy. Better sound proofing might help. This is a new setup so hopefully management can work out the glitches.

We enjoyed the size of the room and convenience for accessing all the fishing spots. We would recommend to have on hand some paper towels and extra trash bags. The decor in the room was perfect, gave the place a real ‘home away from home’ feeling! We would definitely return next year! Thank you for the opportunity to stay!

This is the best place I’ve stayed in my 8 visits (once year trip) to the Soldotna/Kenai area. We really enjoyed our stay. Clean and large rooms. We’re definitely going to stay here again. Very nice place.

Excellent place to stay. We flew in to Alaska for a graduation. The place was beautiful, clean and convenient. The bed was very comfortable. It was a peaceful relaxing stay and hopefully we can stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay in the 2 queen unit- it was clean, a nice size and the managers of the property were attentive to any questions or needs that came up. Having said that, you should be aware there are no laundry facilities UNLESS you stay in one of the larger 2 bedroom units. This was not evident on the website and several guests asked about laundry. We were lucky we’d done laundry at the facility we stayed at just before arriving. Having said that I would absolutely stay here again.

No toilet paper in the room when we arrived, very noisy from road noise, and extremely strong perfume smell that immediately triggered allergic reaction. I would not recommend to anyone sensitive to scented cleaners, etc.

We enjoyed our 30 day stay at this property Lou and Christina were awesome they were always trying to make our trip better! The rooms are large very nice and very clean. There were 5 guys in one room and the room was pretty spacious 2 queens and we put a full sized blow up mattress in the room as well and still had plenty of room it’s a great place if your traveling with a family. It’s 10 to 15 minutes to the Kenai River/Swiftwater Park, Bings and the same for Soldotna. They had a couple of BBQ’s that you can use as well as a couple fire pits on the property. The only thing I can think of that is a bit of road noise as far as downsides. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there in the future.

Bathroom door is sticking. Need a stand for luggage. No dressers Refrigerator too small. Room very clean Bed mattress is too soft and has low spot. Parking lot is loose gravel. Overall I think I will stay again for another vacation if not for fishing.

The location is not great, near the Highway so you hear cars all day long. The insulation of the rooms is very poor, you hear everything from the other rooms.. tv’s, snoring, etc. Pictures were deceiving… make sure you know not every room has a kitchen only some for a lot more money than the single rooms.

First I do not like to leave negative reviews. But others need to know before considering this location. Because this place made my expensive vacation miserable. The pictures on this site are very misleading. 1- When you arrive you have nobody on site to check in. No instructions. I called several times and nobody answered. After 30 minutes I started to leave and find another hotel. They eventually called back and gave me a lockbox code to my room. This is the same experience many others had. Guest knocked on my door amd our friend's doors asking if we were in the office and how to check in. They also said they cannot reach anyone. 2- My room was the worst I have ever stayed in. A very busy highway is in your backyard. The noise is so loud you can't hear your TV unless you have your volume up. They even have a sign in your room that says if the atmosphere noise is too loud download a white noise app on your phone. The walls are so thin you can hear every conversation on both sides. Including what they were watching and all night snoring. 3- You are not on the lake and you do not even have a lake view. 4- The bathroom window would not close. So if you like the cold you can enjoy the natural AC. I would not recommend this place.

Our stay was enjoyable overall as the duplex was well decorated and cozy. The property had a bbq, firepits, and picnic tables. Parking lot was a large gravel lot. The manager was kind upon her visit and told us the property rental just opened so operations were still needed some catching up. They tried to make it as comfy as possible but there were some concerns that we wanted to address for future guests. The tv did not operate at all to entertain the family and fixing it ourselves was a problem as the tv did not connect to the property wifi system. The listing noted a washer and dryer available but were told by management that only the upstairs unit had an accessible/operable facility. And the kitchen did not have a microwave. The management staff was not on-site for immediate issues and texting/calling took some time for a reply- especially during check-in which took almost 30 min to an hour for a reply with multiple calls. The management did visit to change a dead smoke alarm battery and were notified of the concerns. We were told they would clean up the lone washer room in our unit and repair the tv but never returned. Furthermore, the property sits along the highway which can be a noise issue for sensitive ears but it was not too much of an issue for us. Overall, the stay was fun but I hope the management can use these as constructive feedback as they get up to speed with operations allowing guests to fully appreciate the property and its amenities.
