About this property
Entire House with Electric Fireplace
This home is centrally located in Soldotna. It's a great hub that is really close to the Kenai River and a short drive away from the Kasilof River for great fishing. The home is within walking distance to restaurants, shopping, coffee, and many other local events you can immerse yourself in to get a taste of the summer culture in Alaska.
It is also a great central location if you plan on traveling to and from Seward or Homer. The neighborhood is quiet and a short walk from playgrounds for kids or a dog park for your best friend.
We also provide a fresh warm breakfast per your request for an additional cost. Ask for more details after making your reservation. We will accommodate more than 7 guests in beds and if you are okay sleeping on a couch or recliner a couple more.
All in all we provide a very homy place to stay in a great location that serves all your Alaska vacation needs.

This is a great house, right in heart of Soldotna. Everything is clean and in great condition. Hosts are awesome to work with and easy to contact! We had 6 people (including two teens) and it was the perfect size for us.
The house is well taken care of and has all the amenities you'd expect. Neighborhood is nice and quiet, but within easy distance to all the local places. It is within walking distance to the high school.
We booked to stay at this location because we were attending a women’s retreat. The house was inviting. We were very comfortable. They left us very yummy homemade cookies that we devoured the first night. It was a lovely vist. We would choose this place again next year.
House was above expectations! Plenty of both bathroom and bedroom linens and plenty of paper towels,tp,shampoo, conditioner, and body wash! House was super clean with easycheck in. Great location for fishing and hiking and within a couple miles of Soldotna. Jenna is awesome and one of the best hosts!
I stayed here alone for a week of fishing in the area. The house had everything I needed and more, and was about the same price as a hotel room. I was able to use the garage to put on waders in the morning and dry things at the end of the day, and the kitchen had modern appliances. The coffee maker will make Keurig pods or a pot of drip. Located a block from the hospital, five minutes to Fred Mayer, Safeway, and various fishing spots around town, yet on a quiet residential street. I would definitely stay here again.
Good communication with host, nice location in downtown Soldotna (close to the high school), but definitely make sure you look at how to get there, it can be a bit confusing on the GPS.
The Neighborhood was very peaceful. We’re actually repeat customers. We were so happy to find this available at last minute. My kids love this place. Very clean no issues at all. Can’t wait to return.
Nice place, great location. Big fenced yard and near a playground for kiddos. A couple minor things we contacted the owner about— he was super friendly, prompt and helpful.
This was just like staying a a friends home. Everything you would need: dishes, clean towels, fresh made beds, extra pillows, comfortable furniture, TV, Internet, and even a fenced yard with ample parking. We would definitely use them again if we get too crowded at our own cabin. Real Alaskan hospitality.
We booked in February, but we got no contact from the host until we reached out to them the day of our stay. At first they said that they would have to delay check in because the previous guest had had back surgery and needed help moving their things out before we could check in, we said OK, but by 5:30pm they still hasn't contacted us. When we reached back out they said that they still needed to clean the house and when we asked when we could expect to check in they said 7pm. We had driven past the house at 3pm and 5:30pm and it appeared empty both times. When i told them that wasn't acceptable they tried to say they didn't even know we were coming that day, but again, we booked in February. We told them we were going to look at other accommodation because we had kids with us and had been on the road since 8am. They agreed to issue a refund, but then wanted to know what we paid to theoretically refund us plus some extra, we declined this and just wanted the refund. I called vrbo and they checked the messages and saw the offer of the refund. Vrbo said they would contact the owner to get them to cancel the booking so they could issue the refund, but they didn't answer their calls or emails for at least 24 hours leaving us losing that money and the money for the new stay for a prolonged period of time. Eventually the refund was issued, but the whole experience was frustrating and showed a clear lack of planning and communication by the hosts.
Homemade cookies waiting for us when we opened the door! Wonderful surprise after the drive from Anchorage. The house was just like the pictures. Communication with owner was timely and clear. Highly recommend for anyone in the area. Perfect and no surprises. If we return, we will book here again! Thanks for making us feel right at home!
