  • The home is centrally located and is 1 mile from the Kenai River. The house has a ranch-style open concept that is newly remodeled with 3 bedrooms plus a 4th bedroom/office. The furnishing, appliances, and accessories are all new and contemporary. The home has Wi-Fi and a workspace desk for remote working. The home is within walking distance to shopping, and dining, 1/2 block to the hospital, and 1/2 mile to Soldotna High School. The home is perfect for guests visiting the area, staying for sporting events, or a long-term stay. This proximity makes it convenient for guests attending sporting events, hospital work/visits, outdoor activities, and enjoying the river. #593800401

    The kitchen includes a Keurig and coffee pot for guests to use. The kitchen is fully remodeled and stocked with basic kitchen essentials.

    The home comfortably sleeps 5 people (effective for new bookings as of 6/19/24).

    Rental is for the entire home, and you will not be sharing it with anyone. Guests will have access to the entire home and backyard.

    Hooks are installed by the front door in a covered area for hanging fishing waders. The shed in the backyard also has a rolling rack to hang waders after a day of fishing. Private backyard with deck & patio furniture to enjoy outdoors.

    Guests will have access to park in the driveway.

    Guests will not have access to the garage or mailbox.

    The property does not include a BBQ or freezer chest for fish.

Check-out time is at 11:00am. • This cannot be extended due to the cleaning schedule. • $200 late checkout charge. Turn off the air conditioning/heater before checkout. Turn off all lights.

Wash and put away all dirty dishes/pots/kitchenware. Leave all the dirty towels on top of the washing machine. Take out all the trash when you check out.

Please take out trash upon check out. Trash cans are located on the side of the house by the garage. Please use trash bags and breakdown boxes. We hope you have a wonderful stay at our home!

Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Rules

The property has strictly outdoor quiet hours 10PM to 8AM weekends 9PM to 8AM weekdays. Maximum number of guests is 5.

This is a NO SMOKING house. No smoking of any substance on the property, $1000 deep cleaning will be charged.

Pets are not allowed to stay at the property. Please do not flush wipes or feminine products down the toilet. Do not clean fish/game inside the house.

Wonderful place to stay. I had to come to Soldotna for school and stayed here for a little over a month. The house is within perfect walking distance to the hospital for clinical rotations. It was the perfect home away from home and had everything I needed for an extended stay. The neighborhood is incredibly peaceful and quiet. I enjoyed my time in the home.

Everything was as listed … the recently remodeled property is fresh, clean and comfortable. My husband, who is very picky about beds, gave the master bedroom bed two thumbs up. We found everything we needed to cook meals and really enjoyed our time there with family members. We would certainly stay in the home again.

Beautiful roomy house

We had a wonderful stay here for Thanksgiving! We were a group of 5 adults and a 3 year old, and there was plenty of space for everyone. The house was lovely, very clean, and had a well stocked kitchen. Would absolutely stay here again!

Everything was great

Beautiful, updated house that was very comfy and a great place to crash after a long day. Great coffee selection, a fun smart-fridge that my daughter enjoyed using, and comfortable beds. We would definitely recommend and stay here again!

Perfect Stay in Soldotna

This was a clean, well decorated, and spacious home for our family of 5. The beds were comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed. The owner was so sweet to leave us some goodies. We would stay here again.

Best VRBO stay so far

This VRBO is located in a great place, central to everything. Beyond that it is a well appointed home that leaves no convenience out. With easy check in, easy check out, and frequent reminders and communications with the owner/host, the entire stay couldn't have been any more enjoyable

Great home with plenty of space

We enjoyed the home very much. The appliances were new and the entire property was very clean. The beds are very comfortable, check in process was smooth. The owners were very quick to respond, we would absolutely stay at the home again.

Modern, Comfy, and Great Location

We stayed at this property because my sons had Pop Warner football games at the High School. This home is close to everything, Fred's, High School, Hospital and River. We will stay here again. It's so lovely and has tons of space. The backyard is huge for the boys to run around.

Soldotna Weekend

Our group of five family and friends stayed over the weekend We appreciate how clean the entire house and property is! Lots of little extras made it an enjoyable time. Like the spices and shampoo and conditioner. Kitchen is fantastic! Lots of plates, pots and pans, room to cook and serve food - loved it!

Father's and son's fishing trip

The house was clean and well organized. We were in town for a week of fishing, and the house is a short drive to many services and the Kenai River. We would recommend the addition of a couple of items. The first would be a grill outside near the deck. This would help keep the kitchen clean and odors outside. The second item would be an outdoor rack under the eaves to allow guest to hang their chest waders. The rack would keep the deck area clear and clean.

Month in Alaska

Celebrating retirement with my good friend and Brother. We stayed a few days short of month. Our experience was amazing. Alissa our host was very helpful kind friendly professional in all aspects. 1st snow storm of the season moved in. A few days after . I asked where snow shovel was Alissa had new shovel delivered within 1 hour to front door with large Container of cookies. Our stay was so comfort. House was immaculate comfortable.Beds were comfortable. I had truly the best shower in 60 years oversized shower with tons of water pressure. Kitchen was stocked with everything you’ll need. I would Highly recommend staying at home again. Can’t say enough good things about our stay. Hopefully for an another visit. Chris
