Southern Bluff B&B was a much needed break from staying in hotels. Shirley was a wonderful hostess! She texted soon after we made the reservation and kept in communication until we arrived. Shirley offered a delicious made to order breakfast and would make accommodations for allergies if needed. It was a relaxed, homey atmosphere. The bed was comfortable, towels were soft and fluffy, and water pressure in the shower was great! The best part of the stay was when Shirley recommended a Kenai Fjord Glacier and Wildlife Cruise out of Seward. It was an amazing experience and we would not have thought to do it, much less actually booked it without Shirley's advice! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and our conversation with Shirley!

10/10 would recommend!!! Definitely stay here. Best value for the price paid on our entire trip. It was more like an Airbnb as we had the whole lower level of her house to ourselves. She let us do laundry there as well for no charge. Check in was flexible. The host was very friendly yet also gave us privacy. She does provide breakfast as a legitimate B&B and it exceeded expectations by far. She let us pick the time for her to have it ready at. Her and her husband are great and I can’t say enough good things about them!

Fantastic place to rest your head

Super friendly and cozy experience. The rooms are spacious, bed is super comfy, shower has great water pressure. Everything is immaculate. I felt right at home and very at ease. Breakfast is made to order and very hearty. A great way to start a beautiful day in Alaska. I can't wait to return!
