"Very convenient and unique place to stay while in Amana. Very clean, spacious rooms with comfortable beds. Only downside is that it can be noisy in the rooms. Original room (103) was conveniently located by an outside door, but had to ask to be moved because we could hear everything being said in the room next door. This room is near the event area also and I was told it can get very loud if there is a wedding, etc. Thankfully hotel wasn't full, and staff was very accommodating, so got moved to another room that was better. Old historic building with many original items from the woolen mill. No continental breakfast, but great food at the restaurant in the hotel and good bakery and other restaurants in town. Would definitely stay here again."

"I had a very pleasant stay! I totally forgot, though, that there's often live music on weekend nights directly outside the hotel - fortunately I was on the far side and the AC covered up the sound. Parking was very difficult in the public lot next to the hotel on Saturday night; finally found a spot after driving through the whole structure twice. :/"

"I cannot recommend this hotel enough! from the very moment we checked in we felt welcome! I believe it was Vanessa at the front desk who checked us in. she had the most bubbly and welcoming personality! she gave us the run down on parking, amenities the hotel offered, how to get there, and any other questions we had she was insanely ready to help! the night staff was also wonderful! I frequent the iowa city area often and i will definitely be making this a reoccurring spot to stay as well as recommending it to anyone else coming this way! "
