"Nice small hotel close to the city center and bus station. Shops and park where you can spend nice time walking is also in vicinity. Breakfast was tasty and staff was nice. The only negative was traffic noise coming from street and also we could here our neighbors in next room talking, mostly through bathroom ventilation. "

This obelisk marks the top of Vápenná (Roštún), which at 752 m, is the 3rd highest peak in the Little Carpathian Mountains, Western Slovakia. There are a couple of hiking trails to get here, either from Sološnica or Plavecké Podhradie. The hike through the clouds was worth it, with only a few other peaks visible. Will definitely be coming back here in the summer months! #hiking #stefaniktrail #WinterWonders #malekarpaty #TakeAhike
