"This hotel is close to the North Rim of Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park. The South Rim is the more frequented rim and is also where the Visitor Center is located. It will take about 1:45 minutes to drive to the South Rim from this hotel. The owner Cherri was very friendly and a delight to talk to. All the rooms are non-smoking rooms. The information on Expedia isn't clear this. There are chairs and tables outside for people to smoke if they wish to."

"Everything was good. A little outdated but everything that you need was there. The common areas were excellent. The jacuzzi was good.The views are great. The garage is very narrow and leaking. We hit our car inside- too narrow."

"Another awesome stay at the Timberline! Clean, well kept, comfortable 1 bedroom condo with fully equipped kitchen and great black out curtains. Friendly staff, clean pool area, cozy resturant with great food. Renovations in process but you don't hear any extra construction noise. I did have a large amount (killed 5 myself and saw several more) bugs this visit but I think that was related to the renovation. Even with the bugs I will be back and recommend to anyone needing a place to stay in Snowmass"
