Extremely dissappointing stay. Only positive was it's location (close to Piazza Tasso and Train station). Weren't informed that adjacent hotel was being renovated/parts demolished so constant noise throughout the day. Cleanliness needs attention. Hotel has stale odour. Never once saw anyone using a mop to clean! Worst coffee I've ever had in Sorrento (stayed in numerous hotels over 40 years). Restaurant and bar are dated. Clear plastic table covers used over tablecloths!.Had to eat outside due to staleattention

I enjoyed my stay at Hotel Eden - it was clean, comfortable and in walking distance to central areas of Sorrento. It's an equal distance to the train station and port, which made it ideal. The breakfast is a great start to the day.

We loved our stay at Hotel Eden. It is located right outside the downtown area of Sorrento so just a 5 minute walk to shops and restaurants. We also felt safe walking back at night. The outdoor pool was very nice and landscaped beautifully. The buffet breakfast was just okay but enough to have a little something before heading out for the day.

In English (Inglese): The hotel fit my needs well: very close to the center of the square where there are many shops and restaurants, the hotel has a nice pool to cool off in, the breakfast buffet was very nice, the room was quiet (I slept well), the hotel is close to the bus station, and the hotel is within walking distance to the beaches. Other people lodging at the hotel who I engaged with were very nice (everyone was in a good mood or pleasant). The two areas for improvement in my opinion would be: the different design of the shower (the shower was a bit narrow and every time I took a shower, the water leaked all over the bathroom floor) and the toilet seat seemed to have stains/spots. I just used toilet paper the couple times I needed to use it sitting down. The staff at this hotel were very helpful and friendly to me. I speak just a little Italian, but most of the staff understood me when I spoke in “broken” Italian. Some staff understood English a fair amount also, so this also helped with communication. The man at the front desk, was very courteous when recommending a restaurant and advising me on directions. Another man who works for the hotel, Michele, woke up before 3 AM, and drove me to the Naples airport so that I could check my bags, pass through security, and get on my plane on time (6:30 AM). I am very appreciative of him helping me within such short notice, and especially, waking up so early.

The location worked so well for us, easy to walk from train station and right in the middle of town, with easy access to restaurants, shopping, port. Staff were great, from the front desk to porters and restaurant staff. Breakfast was varied with both hot and cold choices. For the price the bedroom was disappointing, small and cramped, but beds comfortable. Overall, it was a great stay.

Shambolic.
Awful. Tiny room, uncomfortable bed, only positive was the location. Swimming pool depressing. Nothing like the pictures. Avoid if possible. On arrival, my wife asked for two large beers, what arrived was two 3 litre glass wellington boots, for which we were charged 40 euros. A nonsense hotel.

Hotel was easy to get to from the train station. Very clean hotel and the staff was very friendly. Located in a good part of town with a quick walk to shops and restaurants. Breakfast buffet had all the hot and cold essentials. I would stay again.

Ideal central location minutes from Piazzo Tasso, train & bus station. restaurants, pharmacies etc. A cjty hotel with outdoor seating areas. Breakfast adequate. Very nice owner and staff so helpful after my traffic accident. Good hotel fkr a week’s sightseeing or few days city break rather than a romantic long holiday

Nice hotel. Great location
Nice clean room. Beds made and towels changed every day. Excellent location. Friendly welcome and help with bags to help room. Nice unlimited buffet breakfast and a great little restaurant a few feet from the hotel. Absolutely can't fault it for the price

Nice affordable hotel in Sorrento
The hotel has a perfect location in Sorrento. Quite quiet with no traffic noise, but still a stone throw from all the action. The staff where nice and helpful. The rooms where ok, beds ok, but the aircondition so-so. Breakfast was pretty simple and ok at best. Pool and sunbeds nice and ok. One thing dragged it down. It looked to us like the hotel staffs children was granted free use of the pool. That would have been ok if they had been prevented by parents from free unfolding. Terrible noise, splashing and water-guns all day. They dissapeard the last few days, and it all quiet down nicely. So hotel staff, keep your kids under control next time!!

Short break of three nights. Very friendly and welcoming. Perfect location. In town, near station and buses.Upgraded to a huge room. Good breakfast included. Would love to return when it’s hot, to be able to enjoy the lovely garden and pool.

Hotel is in a very good location, close to bus and train station as well as Piazza Tasso.Our room was basic but very clean. Peaceful at night. There is swimming pool and pleasant gardens. Staff are helpful. Luigi in reception was obliging. The lack of free WiFi in the room was disappointing as our data allowances were eaten up over the 12 days stay. WiFi was 5€ per day. However, I would certainly recommend this hotel ! We enjoyed our stay and would certainly go back .

The location is great as it's very close to the bus/train station and the centre of Sorrento without being so close that it's noisy all the time. There's free wifi in the lobby, but a charge for wifi in your room. The rooms are modest, so plan to spend all your time out and about!

Location was fantastic Disappointments were : power points were behind furniture and inaccessible for adaptors , additional some not compatible (didn’t fit) adaptors. Wifi was not available in rooms, but was available at an additional cost of 5ε Key for safe was also at an additional cost, yet other rooms were not. Cigarette burns on the bed spreadspread Bins were full on arrival No top sheet on single bed Older staff were unwilling to oblige in providing an additional key card when original was lost , meaning we had to sleep in the dark without powered and aircondioning - told us to come back in the morning, however the younger staff memener quietly said , come back in an hour and he would give us the card (when the old man had gone) this was at 11:30pm. Breakfast was average, bugs flying over fruit, certainly not worth paying Overall poor customer service, Eden has the potential to be a great place, however they need to improve on service , and facilities, including pool area

Excellent location. Walkable distance to many points of interest. Michael was an excellent host and freely offered useful information. The shower door didn’t close properly and had mold and mildew. The pool didn’t seem as pictured but was a welcomed amenity during the heat wave. All in all it was adequate for the price. Great experience in Sorrento!

Superb Location for centre of Sorrento
The Hotel Eden is superbly located for the centre of Sorrento and all its lovely quirky Streets and restaurants and is also very close to the bus station. The owner of the hotel greeted us on arrival and was extremely helpful & very friendly. We were able to park our car comfortably at the front of the hotel where there are very beautiful well kept gardens with lots of lovely lemon trees. The swimming pool is also located in these gardens however the weather was too cold for swimming... Our room was located at the front of the hotel with a very large balcony over looking the gardens, the room was comfortable, a very good size however a little dated but this was not an issue. Thank Hotel Eden.

Great Location right smack in the middle of the active Sorrento life. Beautifully landscaped property with many Lemon trees bearing fruit. The staff was very helpful and extremely friendly. The rooms are quaint, but adequate. Our room included a buffet breakfast which was just superb! There is also a restaurant on site and many just outside the gates, great. The property is 5 minute walk from the local train station which can get you back and forth to Naples in a little over an hour. We had read and were warned of the issues at the Naples Centrale Train Stazione (pick-pockets), so we times our journey early in the morning and it was a very pleasant ride. Clean, economical and relaxing rooms

The hotel is accommodating & has lovely gardens although the weather has not yet been warm for the pool. The location is very good and offers a large breakfast buffet. The beds were uncomfortable and the hotel did not offer free Wi-Fi in the room which was inconvenient.
