Location is excellent. Front desk is helpful and friendly. We wish tea, coffee, cups (not low quality plastic cups) etc. could be provided. Breakfast should be better.

Wonderful location! Easy walk to many locations, easy to get to bus station, train station and even the port for the ferry. Suggest using an Uber/Taxi when arriving by ferry as there can be a lot of steps to carry your luggage up. Staff was warm and responsive. There were 4 women sharing 1 room, enough space and beautiful views of the sea. Also, a magnificent restaurant across from ZiTeresa’s front gate!

Water either too hot, or just a trickle of cold. Bed’s extremely hard, even for someone who like firm Mattress. Not even sure there was a mattress. Staff and breakfast were very nice!! Rooftop bar and view exceptional. 10 min walk to train, 15 to town and pier. Good budget option for travelers.

I would recommend the hotel. It is old and the rooms are laid out in a very weird way. The breakfast could be better. But its in a good location and is a good price.

Good location & staff generally cooperative (we got to know the maintenance man quite well, and he was wonderful). Sadly, the building is tired & wearing out; the air conditioner would stop for no reason, the metal winder shutter locked down on day 1, & numerous other small things didn't work properly. The buffet breakfast was ordinary.

I would give the hotel a 4.5 if I could. The room was clean and quiet and everything worked. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The location was good. The negatives were the beds which we found to be too firm and the breakfast which to us was pretty average.

Such a helpful lady on reception. I’d had my purse stolen in Rome, so there were complications, she was wonderful. Pool small, but that’s no problem for us, the coolness was what was required. A hugely popular restaurant is opposite

Loved the location and the building. Loved the roof top bar area. We were disappointed that pool was not accessible as closed at 6pm. Had to pay €3 for pool towel. Also, quad room had 1 good 'king' bed and 2 terrible beds, likely meant for very small children. Had a 'key' safe so did not feel secure. Broken shower head. Great staff, helpful,friendly. I would return!

OK for short stay
Finding hotel made easier by large sign on main road. Well located. Pool area cramped plus charge for towels. Car park charge €30 per night is extortionate and had to leave car key with reception. Changed bathroom towels every day. Breakfast OK.

The property was kept really well. The building itself was old. There was a smell of mold in our room, I’m sure due to its age. I couldn’t get the safe to work to store my passport and valuables. Other than that it was quite charming.

Absolutely superb experience. Very glad of the pool given the hot weather and lack of reasonably priced sun lounger / beach facilities in the town. Rooftop bar has fantastic views all around. Pleasant and helpful staff, cleaners were great, food options (bed & breakfast) were the best we had of three hotels we stayed at during our holiday to Italy. The restaurant opposite the entrance steps is very reasonably priced and serves fantastic food. It’s so popular people queue up 45 mins before opening time and is highly recommended. It’s close enough to town without being right on top of the marina which is (understandably) more expensive to capitalise on cruise ship passengers. We absolutely loved this place and would stay again in a heartbeat. Very highly recommended!

overall it was a good property to stay. a bit walk from the downtown area, and if you don't mind walking then it is a good option. parking could be a potential challenge... terrace was good to have a drink and look at the old town view. pool is quite small so it is basically to refresh yourself.

10 mins walk from the old town, the great reception & housekeeping staff make you feel really at home in this smart hotel and the balcony room views are just amazing. The substantial breakfast buffet was however a bit disappointing with some cheeses and pies appearing 3 days in a row and becoming “tired”. Also, apart from the espresso, the coffee machine produced unpleasant drinks. As an active family, we’d also have liked the very nice pool to have been open earlier than 10am and later than 6pm.

We stayed at the hotel recently on a visit to Sorrento. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Hotel was in a great location. The building is a little dated but we really enjoyed our time there and would recommend it.

Functional City Hotel
Basic hotel, a little tired, but lovely view of Mt Versuvius. Excellent location for the centre of Sorrento; a 10 min walk and 6 minutes to the station for easy transfers by bookable coach to Naples Airport. Small pool which is good for short dip after sight seeing but limited numbers of sun loungers. The breakfast was very disappointing, not enough healthly, nutritional items on offer.

One of my favorite hotels! Only complaint is they don't cook the eggs long enough, but the breakfast is free so WHO CARES! Rooftop is amazing.

We loved our stay at Zi Teresa. A beautiful hotel with a lovely pool and rooftop with stunning Sorrento views. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I loved our room with a little balcony, and there were many options for dining close by. We were sad to leave and hope to return.

The view from my room was spectacular. This is a very small hotel. Pool area is also very small. The hotel is kept very clean. Staff are very kind and helpful. Its about a 10 minute walk to Piazzo Tasso. So the location is quite good if you don't mind walking. I recommend wearing comfortable shoes. There are many restaurants close by. This hotel does not have a restaurant. They do offer a free breakfast package and it is served buffet style in the lower level of the hotel. There are many options, i would rate the quality of the food 3 star. There are lots of shops close by and so much to see. Parking is not included in your hotel room package. They will charge you 30 euro per day extra to park in the underground parking. I would definately stay here again.

First. The staff are outstanding at this hotel. Second. However that is were it ends. This is not a 4 star hotel. We stayed for 8 days and asked for a none smoking room. Well that is as far as it goes as people are allowed to smoke outside that means when sitting on your own balcony others can smoke on their balcony so one gets a face and a room full of cigarette smoke. Three. Can not sit upstairs on the roof or at the pool as people smoke there. Four. Sorrento does not enforce the no smoking laws. The young man that we believe cooks the breakfast arrives early and parks his scooter just outside the hotel gate, smokes every morning and then throws his ends out onto the street. There must be about 40 end laying there. The law states this is illegal and a fine of 50 euros. The hotel is old fashion and the different colours of the seating looks terrible. Also the owners young son was shooting foam bullets in the seating area which is just outrageous when tourist are sitting in the area.

Hotel was above average aesthetically. Location was a bit out of the way but overall still very walkable to the area attractions. Service, however, was generally quite poor. Staff was not very helpful or friendly and often appeared annoyed with routine tourist questions. Staff did not communicate upon check in about details of the hotel, ie. that AC shuts off if you open balcony door or that you are renting towels for the pool. We were left to discover the roof top terrace (which is beautiful) on our own and no contact info was offered or advice on anything. Overall you can do much better for the money.
