We absolutely love the apartment. It looked exactly like the pictures and Olimpia met us there and went over things, she was so kind. She had a lot of recommendations on restaurants, stores and things to so. She replied right away to any questions we had. The outdoor spaces were wonderful. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone. Loved our Stay.

Great host and large private outdoor spaces.

Olimpia was an amazing host and was very patient when answering all of our questions on arrival. She also forwarded a brochure in advance which included detailed instructions on how to reach the apartment and lots of other useful information. There was also a nice welcome selection of snacks, milk, Limoncello etc. awaiting us on arrival, as well as a bowl of oranges and lemons freshly picked from Olimpia’s garden. The apartment is absolutely amazing, particularly the outside space with with a large terrace on the same level plus two balconies. We also had private use of the massive roof terrace with views towards the sea and Vesuvius. Being on the top (5th) floor, the small lift was much appreciated. The bed was very comfortable and, although we did not need it during our stay, the apartment is air-conditioned. Conveniently located just around the corner from the train station from where it is easy to catch a bus down to the port for the ferries to the Amalfi Coast, Capri, Naples etc. Alternatively, the port can be reached in about 15-20 minutes walk (we recommend taking the lift up and down from the Villa Comunale gardens. We also took the train to Pompeii during our stay. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Olly House and we would definitely recommend it for the great location, the huge outside areas and, of course, the lovely Olimpia.

Our stay at the Olly House was absolutely enchanting! Our family of four adults traveled to Sorrento from California for 8 days and found the accommodations to be perfectly suited to our needs. The apartment is impeccably clean, the air conditioning worked wonderfully, it’s extremely quiet at night and the views are spectacular! The private patio and rooftop are really a bonus, adding a great extra space. The location is absolutely perfect as you are very close to the train station and bus stops. It’s also very close to the main town square for shopping and grocery stores, really just a perfect location. An added bonus is the cafe in front of the building, “Okie Dokie” is lovely for cappuccino or cocktails. As if this were not enough, Olympia, the host, is absolutely delightful! Her communication was spot on and she is extremely hospitable, and accommodating. She provided snacks, sparkling wine and limoncello for us upon arrival. We really felt as if we were staying with family! The space and hospitality exceeded that of any other travel experience we have had. It was well worth the price: a great value for this location, that I don’t think you would find anywhere else in Sorrento! We will definitely come back to visit our new friend Olympia and stay at the Olly House again. If you are looking for an A+ experience in Sorrento at a great price, don’t look any further, the Olly House is the place to feel at home and create lots of wonderful lasting memories!
