The staff was very courteous and friendly. However, the room we were assigned on the first night was quite a shock. The shower was located in the bedroom with only a single glass wall for separation. There was no sofa and only one chair in the room, as well as just one small bath towel provided. Overall, the room felt more like a closet than a proper hotel room. Given the price we paid, we expected a much more decent accommodation.
The following day, I requested a different room, which we received that evening. This room was significantly better and met our expectations. That said, I believe a discount should have been offered for the first night, which unfortunately did not happen.
Overall, the hotel is very clean and modern.

Really lacked of enclosed showering,
Not used to shower in an open bath. Guests in the room above you could literally hear every step and move.
3rd floor and no lift does not help but since its historic building we can let this go.
2 windows overlooking the canal had beds at them so €330 a night with canal view wasnt quite with canal view unless you open window and peak out while sitting on the bed.

"Enchanting property but rooms were average. Older but cozy. No elevator, no in room refrigerator or bottled water, no TV, no AC, no bug screens which were a serious issue given the heat wave and no AC.
