"Top 5 stays in all my adventures. Affordable, comfortable, quiet, large room, fresh made breakfast, super nice staff. I absolutely feel rested and ready to finish the last leg of my 14 day journey. People need to take lessons from this hotel! I never get to feel like this on my budget! Such a treat!"

"Quiet and comfortable room. We didn't use the pool but it looked well-kept and clean. A bit outside of the main drag of Red Lodge so not the most walkable, but walkable enough and likely the reason it was so quiet. Inexpensive so would be good for anyone needing a night of restful sleep. Breakfast options were okay, not awesome, but grateful to have something to munch on."

"We loved the ambience and location downtown . The complimentary valet service was a plus. Rooms were clean, super comfy and quiet. We did dine on site in the Lounge. The food and service was excellent. We've both worked in hospitality and The Northern exceeded expectations on all levels! "

"This is a new hotel. The lady at the desk said it was 8 months old. The check in process was very easy and quick. When we arrived in our room it smelled new. Was nice to have a room that is new and not used alot. The beds are comfortable but they are the type that dont need a box spring and on a metal frame. Not the best looking and made the room look kinda cheap. The beds are also able to move very easy. The room had a cook top, full fridge, microwave and alot of shelving to store things if you need. The AC worled well as when we arrived in the room the temperature was set to 59 degrees Fahrenheit. The bathroom was nice and well maintained. The only complaint in the bathroom is the shower head as it did t have alot of pressure so it toom forever to rinse off. Overall this a nice convenient location in the billings area next to I90 and a few places to eat close to the hotel. "
