"We had booked in to the Baddeck Domes for our stay but they were not finished being built. This was very disappointing for us. The owner made it right by giving us a full refund for the Domes. We then stayed in the Baddeck motel. The room was tiny, there was mold on the curtains, but the beds were clean and comfortable enough. It looks like they may be doing some renovations on the motel. The staff was the best part of the stay. "

"Our first room smelled damp and musty, there was mold on the window frame. Bathroom sink didn’t drain well. I tried to stay there for a couple of hours but started to get a headache. The desk clerk was very helpful and changed us immediately to another room. The second room was better but we would not stay at that hotel again. It is way overpriced for the type of rooms listed. Very basic rooms, no coffee pot, etc."
