"The Owner was very obliging, as due to CHC being booked out & a midnight flight arrival, we knew if would be a 3am arrival. He kindly left the unit unlocked for us. While the place is showing it's age & use, it was clean & tidy, the shower was great, the sheets were clean & the beds comfy. We slept well. Would I use Larchwood Motels again? Without hesitation. It's value for money indeed. I have to say, I enjoyed teh chat with the owner teh next morning. A cheerful & kind man."

"The apartment is nice and clean. However I cannot say it was a very pleasant stay as the noises from the guests upstairs. We stayed in the ground floor and we could hear the footsteps and the loud noises from upstairs in our bedroom, from 7am in the morning and late at night :(. "

"It’s a pity that we only stayed one night. We didn’t use all the facilities available to us. Good quiet location and on a clear night, we might have been able to see the milky way from the back of the property. Only downside was that there was no laundry facilities available for the apartment. That’s not really a major point as we normally hand wash with a Scrubba bag anyway."

"It was a great place to stay. Really lovely and easy and accessible. The apartment is split into an upper room with two rooms in the basement. This was perfect for our family as we and the kids slept downstairs while my mom slept upstairs so as not to get woken up in the middle of the night. The only drawback was the portacot we initially received was broken, and Kal (host) didn't know if we could get another one until the following day. This was then fixed because there were two brand new...

"Had a 17 night stay with the family. House was great (lots of stairs-as stated) and once you have driven down the steep driveway once, it doesn’t seem so daunting! Lovely ensuite off the main bedroom and views to die for! Kitchen well stocked with appliances, a few staples in the cupboard to use. Some dishwashing and clothes washing products provided which was great. Owners very quick to reply to questions. Found the main bed a little hard, could do with a mattress topper for comfort but...
