Super close to skyline and town center. Also, good access to getting to Glenorchy-Queenstown and Arrowtown. Friendly staff checking in. Just an awesome and amazing experience here. Room fit our family perfectly and parking right outside our door. Heaters in the rooms to keep us warm.

Older, but clean space, felt more like a hostel. The shower had terrible water temperature and pressure. We stayed as a family of 5 for 2 days. If you are looking for a bed, small kitchen and toilet then it meets those needs. If you are looking for more space and some quiet it's not the best option.

The room is clean, tidy, and very quiet. The environment on the second floor is really private and quite nice. There is just one issue: there are no mosquito screens on the windows, so we are concerned that mosquitoes might fly in and bother us at night.

The room was spacious as was the bathroom. Both were clean. The beds were comfortable. The shared kitchen was clean and had enough supplies. The fridge was clean and safe leaving labeled food. Parking was bad. Limited parking to first in. Tight parking spaces. Property located on a hill. Walking to town took 10-15 minutes on way.

I stayed in the Spike cabin number 7.It was awesome. I really want to thank Pinewood Team for their service and cleanliness. The room, kitchen and washroom was neat and tidy. Their housekeeping team needs to be appreciated for the amazing job. I will strongely recommend Pinewood for its cleanliness, prime location which is 5-10 minute walk to CBD and Gondola and value for money. The staff was friendly. The room was a little older but it was clean and the beds were comfortable. It is walking distance to the city center and a grocery store. Also walkable to the gondola which is one of the main attractions of the city. I would stay there again. The price was fair and the WiFi worked well. Only small complaint would be that the shower had no cool temperature. It was hot or hotter.

Great option for staying in Queenstown. Location is great as it’s close to the city core but very quiet. We stayed in a cabin unit and had everything we needed for the stay in the unit. The only 2 things we disliked was how small the bathroom sink was, and how tight the parking area was. Other than that, we had a nice stay at Pinewood.

I had an excellent stay here. The staff were extremely friendly and went out of their way to help with anything I needed. They even upgraded me to a cabin for free, which made the experience even better. The views from the property were beautiful, and the location is perfect—just a short walk from the town center but still quiet and peaceful. Highly recommend this place, especially staying in one of the cabins. I would absolutely stay here again.

Clean, good facilities, large room, kitchen and living was comfortable. Would have liked to be able to stay in common room post check out whilst waiting for flight as the website said when booking but this wasnt really available except for sitting at reception. Decent room to sleep in and go from to explore Queenstown. Room could do with a fan or a mini fridge as it could get quite warm in there and the windows open didn’t alleviate that too much. Cleaning staff were lovely.

Out of all the stays In New Zealand , no doubt the worst one !!! Very noisy , doors getting slammed all nights , very poor quality of cleaning in communal areas . Very strong smell . Very old property in general . Only a couple of good things about this property are customer service and location for no doubt.
