I love the charm of this hotel. It had a classic 1920s hobby and public areas, but the rooms are modern contemporary and pleasing to the eye. I really appreciate the combination of classic and contemporary. Also a very convenient location for all of the dining and entertainment that we took in while in San diego. Enjoy your stay

My stay was okay overall, but there were a few things that could have been better. The carpet in the room did not appear to have been vacuumed, and the extra blanket in the closet was stiff and smelled dusty. The AC would release a funky smell when the temperature was above a certain threshold. The hotel was notified and a technician looked into it, but the issue continued.
I had stayed here before and had a great experience, which is why I decided to stay here again. Unfortunately, this stay was not great. I do think the hotel has a lot of potential, and I hope these housekeeping and maintenance concerns can be addressed.
On a positive note, I really appreciated the messages we received before arrival, during our stay, and on checkout day. That communication was a nice touch and I hope it continues.
