Great spot for a weekend getaway

The Ambassador Inn is located mid Cape and close to many towns. It's location makes day trips easy, and having two pools to relax beside helps you enjoy it that much more.

We really loved staying at this inn. It was super clean and recently updated. The beds were so comfy, we slept well. Front desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Good location with lots of options nearby. We will plan to stay here again in the future.

Cape adventure

Breakfast was great with waffles or French toast and many other choices. Desk clerk gave easy directions to beaches. Places to eat close by and fun activities.

The property was very clean and updated, beautiful outside front door seating. Easy parking. Loved the rooms and the breakfast they display every morning. Would like it if there was stand up tall mirrors in the rooms but other than that everything was provided. Great staff very friendly. Close to beaches, Will definitely stay at this location again!

Fit our purposes well

Very convenient location for our weekend away. Property manager was kind enough to give us a first floor room to accommodate my limited mobility. Comfortable bed. The room was very clean but the jacuzzi needed some repairs and cleaning.

Good Value for the area

The property was in a central location near area attractions. It was clean, but dated. There was some damage to base boards in the bathroom and the air conditioner unit was very noisy. The staff was helpful and there was a continental breakfast. We would have liked to have been closer to the beach and nicer restaurants.

I guess we stayed at a bad time. The hallways outside our door were being worked on, the phone to the desk didn’t work, the cable for the tv was messed up both nights so we couldn’t watch tv. Our room was fine. Beds very comfy, the shower was great & the bathroom & bedroom were clean.

We did very much enjoy this location and stay. But, there were a few things that could be improved. Please let the owner know that, for us older folks, having the toilet paper roll situated across on the opposite wall is not always appropriate. And, I do wish there was a way of reserving a first floor room ahead of time. We had to climb a full set of stairs with our 3 full suitcases. No elevator. We asked to swap for a first floor, but the rooms were all booked. The photos of the inside pool were a little deceptive. We thought it was longer. No one resupplied food to the morning breakfast. Some days there were sausages, other days there were not? The renovations made this place feel brand new. It was great, especially the fabulous mattresses. We would come again as long as we can get a first floor room.

Nice Stay on The Cape

Place wasn’t fancy, but was nice, clean, comfortable, and very affordable for The Cape. Nice mid-Cape location. Staff was friendly. Free breakfast was a nice touch.

Restful retreat

The Ambassador hotel in South Yarmouth is a very nice hotel. The rooms are modernized and gets bonus points for having a medium sized fridge in the room. The staff at the front desk was very informative and friendly. Would recommend this hotel to anyone. Nice job Ambassador hotel.

Girls Trip

Overall we had a great experience. The amenities and facilities were well maintained. The rooms were beautiful and the staff was very pleasant. The pools and hot tub is a bit dated and the stonework was broken which caused the hot tub water to be cloudy.
