"We only had the room from about 6:30pm to about 7am for a 16 hr layover enroute from Paris to Sydney, Australia. We were upgraded. Room was very spacious and confortable however jet lag still affected our sleep. Buffet dinner was excellent for special Singapore National Day price of SG$60pp inclusive of all fees/taxes. Normally SG$120 + taxes/fees. Included breakfast was excellent as well. Great hotel for long layovers but expensive. Cost was offset by considerable savings on air fares by taking long layovers each way to Europe which we hoped would help with jet lag. We chose this hotel for our return layover due to its direct access to the airport. Very convenient."
"The staff have to be the nicest I have ever experienced in any hotel, and I travel a lot. The food was excellent although the “street food” concept was too restaurant like, which a) made it very expensive, b) too much to eat and c)very oily compared to the simplicity and deliciousness of proper street food (might suggest just go back to basics - take a look at the Food Hall at the airport, that’s great street food). The facilities are wonderful and the hotel overall a brilliant place to stay. I cannot recommend if highly enough. Forget the Bangkok city hotels, this was amazing."
"I recently stayed at Royal Palace Hotel in Hanoi and had a fantastic experience. The bed was incredibly comfortable, providing a perfect night's sleep after exploring the city. The staff were exceptionally nice and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. The hotel's decor beautifully combines modern amenities with traditional Vietnamese charm. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay and highly recommend Royal Palace Hotel for anyone visiting Hanoi.

"Hotel in fantastic location close to shopping, restaurants and MRT stop. Breakfast was amazing offering as was room service. Only disappointment, phone handset did not work and fridge not working. The latter we were told by maintenance was not there to cool but only to chill. It did neither nor did it get replaced as he promised. For almost $500AUD per night we expect better."
