Top Southeast Ireland Hotel Reviews
Kilkenny Ormonde Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"No taxis"
The Club House Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Fantastic location with free parking on site included. The room was not ready early unfortunately, so we left our stuff in the car until it was. No elevator, but that’s pretty standard in small hotels. The food was great and bartender/servers were friendly. The terrace out front was lovely for a drink and people-watching. Strong a/c and comfortable bed/bedding. Spacious room and bathroom with a large window and great tv options. This was our favorite city and hotel of our trip to Ireland!"
Viking Hotel Waterford
10/10 Excellent
"All the staff were the most helpful and the room was clean and beds comfy,"
Kilford Arms Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff were wonderful. Warm, helpful and friendly. The parking is conveniently at the back of the hotel. Very easy then to walk everywhere in Kilkenny. This hotel stood out due to the exceptional helpfulness of staff."
Waterford Marina Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Great location beside the River and close to the Viking Triangle, shopping and entertainment areas. Welcoming staff and very nicely finished interiors. Also a great breakfast."
Pembroke Hotel
8/10 Good
"Convenient location if using train station! Lovely hotel with unique and tastefully designed rooms. Comfortable, safe, kind service. Lovely breakfast! I would stay again."
Hotel Kilkenny
10/10 Excellent
"Hotel Kilkenny was very welcoming and lovely to stay in. The staff members were very helpful and provided tips on places to visit and activities. The room was clean and very comfortable. We loved having access to the pool and workout room."
Talbot Hotel Wexford
8/10 Good
"Functional hotel in a central location. Room was nice with a good bed and modern bathroom. Breakfast was hit and miss, with the hot items not great - fried eggs were hard as bricks wither black around the yolks indicating that they were sitting there for a while. The dining room was like a morgue - dark furniture, walls, ceiling and art - and equally depressing. No hot food available between 21:15 and 23:00 on a Friday evening. Not sure if it is a stop off for travellers off the ferry, but obviously no consideration for that. Nice that a water fountain is available on the floor, but some signposting would be good."
Woodford Dolmen Hotel
8/10 Good
"The property is a fairly nice place. Nothing special as far as rooms go, and the lack of air conditioning was a definite negative on a hot day. Windows helped but they don't have screens in the windows. Front desk staff was very friendly. Parking was easy. Grounds were very nice. My children enjoyed exploring the grounds."
