"This hotel is a gem! We stayed in one of the recently renovated rooms and it was lovely! The bed is super comfy so we slept very well. The bathroom has been updated beautifully as well. Quiet, clean, and fantastic AC/heater. Also, the hotel is within easy walking distance of Kilkenny Castle, shops, cafes, etc. Private car park is onsite and convenient. The staff is outstanding! They surprised us with a delicious selection of desserts waiting for us in our room for our anniversary! That was an unexpected surprise! And Jean in the onsite restaurant was so warm and welcoming. Thank you for a lovely stay… highly recommend to anyone visiting Kilkenny! "

"The Pembroke is a great hotel in the heart of Kilkenny. Free parking that is moderate walking distance away. Very large bathroom and shower. Nice bar/restaurant and the breakfast was delicious."
