"Overall, great fr9nt desk customer service. Good courtesy lemon water and apples. Ice machines were broken on 3 floors, office table in room had coffee stains, and hair on bathroom floor. No free parking or hotel discount for parking, not worth paying more for valet. Nice to offer champagne but maybe ask customer if they drink or would prefer more free water bottles."

"The outside in the lobby of the hotel looked very rundown. The halls and floors and halls were all pretty dirty. It smelled in the hallways. The room was very clean and everything in the room looked like it was in pretty good repair, but the building in the parking lot itself looked pretty old and worn out"

"The room i was in had several spots that were falling apart. The elevator was quite sketchy with rattling and shaking when it would stop. The food was good and convenient and the staff was very helpful overall. But it just wasn't the stay it was intended to be."

"Nice property but large dead cockroaches were found under bathroom sink and under bed. As someone with a roach phobia, it was very off-putting. Floor and walls were very dirty also 😕 I wiped everything down with my own Lysol wipes so I was a little more comfortable. We have a toddler that still drinks milk so the fridge was a nice help to keep her milk cold."

Embassy Suites By Hilton Gulf Shores Beach Resort

"Let me start from what was awesome: clean white sand beach which is maintained really well by a 3rd party company. Hotel is located across the street with a crosswalk in front so read "easy 2 min walk". Hotel is new so all facilities and rooms are great, clean and good size. Breakfast was plentiful; options were not as many as other Embassy Suites we've been to but enough for families to start the day. Now what needs work: parking is $30 per day. First of all, for hotel guests who pay for rooms AND expensive resort fees parking should be free. Second, you charge for parking but entrance is SO narrow that I had to maneuver Grand Wagoneer couple of times back and forth to get in or out. Entrance into the parking is narrower than exit and turn is so narrow that large SUVs that EVERYONE drives there have hard time getting in. Also housekeeping needs improvement. This hotel is on the beach. It is impossible not to bring sand into the room. If I didn't ask on day 3, I wouldn't know that all we get is "tidy up of beds & trash takeout". Rooms need to be vacuumed and moped every other day, again because we pay for RESORT FEES."
