"Vi bodde på dette hotellet i Himara sommeren 2024 og hadde et veldig hyggelig opphold. Hotellet ligger fint til med fin utsikt over deler av byen, og ikke minst mot sjøen. Rommet var kurant og fungerte godt for oss. Det vi satte aller mest pris på var balkongen, hvor vi gjerne spiste frokost mens vi nøt morgensolen og utsikten. "Advertised as a 4 star hotel, but this rating feels very generous. Unless your standards are fairly low, it’s difficult to consider this a true 4-star experience. The hotel is located around a 10-minute walk from the start of the old town and close to the pedestrian street, which is convenient but somewhat away from the best part of Breast. The building itself is certainly impressive from the outside, with large faux Greco-Roman columns and grand architecture with massive dome at the top . It was originally built in 2009 with the intention of becoming a university, which perhaps explains the unusual design. Guests enter via a red-carpeted staircase leading up to reception. Unfortunately, the welcome was underwhelming, as the receptionist was not particularly friendly or welcoming. The room rate only included parking, accommodation, and breakfast — notably, there was no included access to the spa or pool. In fact, both were closed during our stay. We were told the spa would cost an additional €40 unless booking a treatment, while pool access was €10 per person. The interior corridors on the first floor felt tired and dusty, with a lingering smell throughout. Even after check-in time, there was visible housekeeping activity, with bedding and supplies left outside rooms while cleaners continued working. We were upgraded to Room 110, described as a suite, although it was really just a larger room with a seating area and table. The room did include a coffee machine. The king-"

"We had a very pleasant stay overall. The location was excellent, with beach only a few minutes’ walk away, and they were extremely helpful and welcoming throughout our visit. There is some room for improvement, particularly with the toiletries provided and the bathroom space, which felt a little congested. However, these were minor issues compared to the overall positive experience. Overall, I would still rate the stay as excellent and truly appreciated the helpful service we received."

Guests are actually treated with so much affection. We were touched. Can’t wait to be back there again. Lovely view from the room and amazing breakfast with wide variety and great quality. We truly enjoyed our stay here."

"The "hotel" is more like an apartment and hard to access unless you're driving, especially if you have mobility issues. Upon arrival, the receptionist informed me that my ground-floor apartment booking was changed without notice to an“upgrade” that was nothing of the sort.The receptionist also made a rude comment about whether I was American or something to that effect. It felt dismissive, like he was questioning why I expected help, or that I was being unreasonable.The apartment wasn’t properly prepared—there was outdoor furniture inside, dirty cookware, no hand soap, and incomplete cutlery. Although he tried to get me the items I requested, there were still issues. For example, I asked for a bowl, but he claimed that bowls aren’t available in Albania, which I know isn’t true. Bowls are commonly used for salad, yogurt-based dishes, and soups. Next the receptionist acknowledged that the room gets cold so he went and brought a duvet/blanket but this is something that also put me off having to possibly be cold. The kettle didn’t work, and when I asked to swap it, none of the others worked either. The receptionist was combative and unhelpful when I voiced concerns.The photos on the website were misleading, showing sea views that didn’t exist in my room. Overall, the place is poorly managed, and if you're looking for a better experience, there are plenty of cleaner, more organized options in the area. This trip was for my 30th birthday, and I ended up leaving for a better place."
